From the moment you walk through the private gates, you'll notice that this isn't a typical beach house.

The dramatic two-story living area, split-level design, expansive terraces, and high ceilings create a feeling of openness rarely found in newer construction. Every room was designed to capture natural light and the cooling Gulf breezes.

Important Information To Note

The entire property is reserved exclusively for your use during your stay.

The only exception is a small on-site casita that remains locked at all times. It is used exclusively by the owners for secure storage of personal belongings, is never occupied during guest stays, and is not part of the rental. Your privacy and exclusive use of the property are fully assured.

The villa is located in a genuine coastal community served by the local electrical utility (CFE). Like many areas along the Yucatán coast, occasional power fluctuations or temporary outages may occur during periods of exceptionally high demand.

To ensure your comfort, Casa Saltwater Cowboy is equipped with a fully automatic backup generator that starts approximately four minutes after a power interruption and shuts down automatically once utility service returns. The property also benefits from a substantial solar energy system.

Our Story

People often ask about the floatplane in our logo.

The name Casa Saltwater Cowboy was inspired by Dale's love of adventure. One of his sons decided his dad couldn't decide whether he belonged in a floatplane, on a fishing boat, or exploring the coast, so he affectionately nicknamed him the "Saltwater Cowboy."

The name stuck.

Today, it represents everything we love about this special place: the freedom of the sea, the spirit of adventure, and the joy of spending time with friends.
