Beautiful home, perfect location

The home was in great condition, very clean and the check in process was very easy. Great communication with the hosts and concierge. Having groceries in the house when we got there was so helpful and appreciated. Location was perfect and close to everything. We took a bus to the beach one day and it was so easy and convenient. Would highly recommend

Great spot, as seen in pictures Great location, easy walk to restaurants, bars, live music, etc. (or go to park and get a ride on a horse carriage, pretty cool) Great hospitality, checkin was easy, comms were great.

Very nice excellent location

This is a lovely VRBO very close to Parque Santa Maria. It has everything you need and is perfect for exploring Centro Mérida. That was very comfortable. Everything was there that you needed.

Wet, hot and wonderful!

This house was everything that was advertised and better. My friend and I didn't stay much in the house, but when we were there it was a nice escape from the weather. The dipping pool was fantastic, the beds were comfortable and the whole place was really well put together. I can't say enough about Beto. Everything that I asked for including early arrival and other tips were promptly responded to by Beto. This was much better than staying at a hotel. It is close to virtually everything you want to see in Centro. My only negative was the weather-the central part of the city lost power and so did we for the final day and a half. Other than that, I was very well pleased with this house.

Fantastic Gem!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! My wife and I felt like every need we could have had been considered and accounted for. The location can’t be beat, and the concierge services were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Merida trip

We loved Casa Jirafa — it is such a cool and cozy house, especially the plunge pool area. It was also located in a superb area and was close to nearly everywhere we wanted to go during our short trip. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Merida!

Casa Jirafa

An excellent property and well located. The room was cool given the high ceilings and the plunge pool was a welcome addition particularly after a long day of activities/walking. The check-in process was hassle free. The room also seems to be very good value.

Incredible stay!

Everything we needed and more! The place is perfect, location is amazing, and the hosts are the absolute best! They go above and beyond to ensure you have the most incredible stay. Tons of little parks and restaurants/bars nearby. Definitely recommend taking a walk to the Parque la Plancha to wander the paths, see some trains, have a drink, and grab a snack!

Great property and very close to all the action but be prepared for lots of street noise and loud music. Burro y Flauta team very helpful and prompt with replies, and very pleasant. Shout out to Beto for helping us navigate our out of town excursions! Cleaning team top notch!

Sweet!

Perfectly located just a block from Santa Lucia, this property is absolutely lovely. The cold beer in the fridge was a nice touch! Burro y Flauta can have groceries in stock for you on arrival with prior arrangement. They have a friendly, professional, communicative team—I couldn’t have been happier.

Great location!

Our stay at casa Jirafa was perfect. The property is exactly as pictured and within walking distance of great restaurants, markets, and parks. We would definitely stay with them again.

Amazing stay at Casa Jirafa

This was my first time using VRBO. I’ve traveled widely across the world and my stay at Casa Jirafa was in the top 1% of vacation rental experiences. The casita is absolutely beautiful, and looks even better than depicted in pictures, with high ceilings, a cute plunge pool, excellent air conditioning, and little artistic touches here and there. The property is conveniently located within a block of three restaurants serving solid Yucatán food (though check out the nearby markets, Taqueria La Lupita and Wayan’e for the REALLY good stuff) and there’s an awesome gelateria across the street. Loved it so much I’m planning on returning next year!

Amazing Casita!

There is so much to say about Casa Jirafa! The home itself is absolutely beautiful and authentic to the local culture. The pool was such a fun bonus, especially after a long day in the Yucatán heat. The location is perfect for visiting all the must-see locations and everything is within a 10 minute walk, with plenty of restaurants, cantinas, and shopping along the way. But what truly places Casa Jirafa above and beyond any place we have ever stayed are the hosts. They answered every single question leading up to, during and after our stay, promptly and diligently. Their guidebook to Mérida is simply amazing, and they even provided more local favorites (less touristy) per our request. They secured an amazing driver from Mérida to Cancun for us, and even arranged last minute changes to the itinerary for stops at Chichen Itza and Cenote Ikkil. We prefer home rentals when traveling and for the most part have always had great experiences, but the hosts of Casa Jirafa are truly the most amazing and attentive we have ever encountered. Would absolutely recommend and consider again if we return.

Great!

Beautiful property in a great location. Loved the dipping pool— much needed on the extremely hot days. The air didn’t work downstairs on our arrival. They worked hard to get it installed within two days and really worked to make it up to us. Very responsive to messages and the guidebook they have is fantastic.

Amazing loft

The casa Jerifa is the best option to stay in Merida. It’s in the center of the city, barely mins away from all good places. We had welcome beers, which was a nice tough. The management is very responsive and attentive to detail. You can hear the birds chirping in morning which is amazing. Even though it was very hot outside, the casa is cool inside :)

Beautiful property

This property is a lovely oasis in Centro Merida. It is exactly as advertised. The staff overseeing the property were very helpful and available to assist if needed. The pool was so nice to cool off after a long day of sightseeing. We loved our stay.

Great, comfortable stay in the town center!

My husband and I stayed in Casa Jirafa for one week and it was an absolute dream! Becca and Beto were so communicative and responsive to all our messages. The house had everything we could possibly need and everyone on staff was a pleasure to work with. The house is located in central Merida and walking distance to so many great bars, restaurants, live music and shopping. Becca also helped us connect with a car rental company and it was a simple and flawless procedure. We will definitely be staying here again!

Charmant et bien situé

Ce charmant petit appartement est géré de façon impeccable par l'agence Burro y Flauta. Nous avons été accueillies sur place par Beto qui nous a expliqué dans les moindres détails ce qu'il y a à savoir sur l'appartement. Il y a aussi un guide très détaillé sur Mérida. L'eau embouteillée est fournie, et le ménage est fait et les serviettes et draps changés une à deux fois par semaine. Il y avait de la bière pour nous dans le frigo. Quand j'ai écrit pour signaler une ampoule brûlée Becca m'a répondu dans la seconde et quelqu'un est venu l'après-midi même. Service irréprochable. L'appartement lui-même est très joli, le lit est très confortable, par contre le sofa-lit l'est beaucoup moins et du coup si on l'utilise on n'a plus de salon, par conséquent il convient mieux à un couple ou une personne seule qu'à deux ou plusieurs amis. L'emplacement est idéal, très central, prés du parc Santa Lucia et de la grande place.

Fantastic Stay at Casa Jirafa

The location was amazing right by Santa Lucia. Owner Michael Cummings & Beto Ortez , customer service manager were outstanding hosts, helped us out a number of times & treated us like family. Their recommendations were fantastic. The property was gorgeous. I would highly recommend Burro y Flauta but better book early since Casa Jirafa is very popular.

Absolutely AWESOME all the way around

Cannot say enough about our experience at Casa Jirafa!! The house itself is amazing, both in it's condition, it's beauty (the pool is every bit as beautiful as it looks in the pictures) and it's location in the city. But what was really awesome was talking with Becca and Beto, and using a local perspective to plan our stay. We had never been outside a resort in Mexico before.. From our questions before the trip to all the arrangements that Becca and Beto helped us with once we arrived, these guys are really great. Beto was THE best, super cool, super helpful with suggestions, planning and super knowledgeable. When we were unsure of something he would tell us plainly what was what. We couldn't ask for more and felt like we were talking with family. Can't wait to stay with you guys again! -B & D, Nov '22
