Relaxing Get Away

Wendy and Marty know how to host! The usual things one anticipates for rentals were all there but it was the extras that really blew us away. Well stocked kitchen including a crock pot, a Milwaukee Tool radio for our use, and unlimited fire wood are just a few of those extras. It felt like home. Wendy was very responsive and thorough which I appreciated! We booked again for next year which is the highest review I can think of!

Echo Lake Getaway

This was our 2nd visit to this property. We had a great getaway - the house is awesome and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The weather was beautiful and we were able to take advantage of the beautiful lake (using the kayaks), bike trails and we got some hiking in. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Echo Lake Retreat Will Exceed Your Expectations!

What an amazing vacation experience! The home was extremely clean and well-appointed. It had everything necessary for a relaxing week in the North Woods. We fully enjoyed watching the loons each morning with a cup of coffee and especially loved seeing a family of three otters swimming and fishing at the end of the dock. We spent our afternoons canoeing on Echo Lake and our evenings sitting around a campfire listening to the loon calls. Wendy, the owner of the property, was amazing and responded quickly to any questions that we had. I would 100% recommend booking Echo Lake Retreat. Do it, you won't regret it!

Fantastic location and accommodations!

The very spacious cabin was impeccably clean and fully stocked with everything needed. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors while fishing and UTV riding around the beautiful area. The convenience of the trail nearby was a plus. An evening cooking around the fire pit topped off a wonderful weekend with friends. Would definitely recommend!

Echo Lake Retreat Weekend

We had a wonderful time at Echo Lake retreat. The home is beautiful with everything you could possibly need and the views of the lake were amazing! I loved that this had 2 beautiful bathrooms - that's a big plus in our books. We had a very relaxing time and were able to enjoy the kayaks, bike trails and nearby hiking trails. Wendy was awesome to work with and we're hoping to book this again next year. Thank you Wendy & Marty for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Week at Echo Lake Retreat

We stayed at Echo Lake Retreat for a week in early August. Wendy is great at communication and responded in a very timely manner to a few messages I sent with some questions. This house is beautiful - feels like a home vs. a rental property. It is very well stocked and the lake is very quiet. We enjoyed the use of the canoe and kayaks, and spent a lot of time relaxing in the outdoor spaces. The location close to town was very convenient. Thank you for such a wonderful week!

Great stay

This was a beautiful place overall. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could ever need.The fact that the grill ignitor did not work and the oven broiler would turn off after two minutes put a damper on some meals but overall it was a great place for a vacation!

Great northern Wisconsin getaway

Great location on a lake with great views. House was well furnished with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. All questions that we had were answered very promptly by Wendy. We would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Quaint and Perfect for Snowmobiles

We rented this property for three couples on a snowmobile trip. The house is very nice with lots of convenient amenities. The property is perfect for parking trailers and even includes a very convenient spur to the main trail. Owners were very pleasant and super easy to work with. Highly recommended for a great weekend getaway with sleds.
