Have never seen so many leather goods for sale. Upstairs food vendors were great with a wide variety of offerings from char-grilled meats (beef/pork/chicken/sausages) to the best Bruschetta you'll ever find. Some things I doubt you'll find elsewhere is a bicycle-powered smoothie blenders. Bring good walking shoes. When we were there in Oct, the downstairs market closed around 7PM and the food vendors upstairs were open until 9PM.

Street vendors are RUDE! and expesive. First thing they ask where you from?. Once you say USA, you will pay more! Buy from local stores, None of those street vendors sell real leather.

Definitely a must-visit! Local vendors with oils, balsamic, pasta, meats and so on. Wine. If we had a kitchen where we were staying we could have cooked up an amazing meal just stopping there.
