Centrally located in a neighborhood, this cozy cabin is situated on its own 1.5 wooded acres, providing plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. This home offers a cool mountain getaway in the woods, with wildlife spotted frequently. It truly is the kind of place where the world slows down and time seems to fall away.



Start your mornings on the covered front porch or screened back porch with a hot cup of coffee or tea, soaking in peaceful woodland views, and wind down each evening around the rock fire pit in cozy Adirondack chairs. Just minutes from waterfalls, scenic parks, charming shops, and local dining, this cabin blends serene relaxation with easy access to adventure. Whether you're here to explore or simply unplug, this is a place to renew, refresh, and feel completely restored.



THE RETREAT PROPERTY



When you turn into the private gravel driveway from County Road 106, you will see this cozy cabin along with your own private parking area (2 cars max unless otherwise authorized).



There are 9 stairs that lead to the covered front porch. This outdoor seating area is an excellent place to unwind at the end of a day full of adventures or enjoy a cup of coffee or hot tea in the morning.



Stepping inside the front door, you will love all that this peaceful retreat offers guests. With 1,085 square feet of living space, this cabin packs a punch with all of its amenities! To the right, there is a well-equipped kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, electric stove/oven, toaster oven, microwave, 12-cup coffee maker, electric kettle, slow cooker, cooking pots, cooking utensils, dishes, drinking glasses, wine glasses, eating utensils, coffee mugs, spices, and more.



To the left upon entrance is the living area with a comfortable leather sofa that folds out into a queen bed when needed. There is a gas log fireplace to enjoy on cool mornings, along with a Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi for streaming your favorite subscriptions.



For endless hours of fun, there is a 32-inch Infinity Game Table featuring digital versions of classic and iconic games such as Monopoly™, Scrabble™, Trivial Pursuit™, Chutes and Ladders™, Candy Land™, Yahtzee™, puzzles, card games, coloring activities, mini-games, and more.



The outdoor spaces are guest favorites, but what makes this cozy cabin especially appealing is the layout featuring two king bedroom suites, making it an excellent choice for two couples.



The primary bedroom suite features a comfortable king bed with a medium plush GoldiLUX mattress. Like its namesake, the 12-inch GoldiLUX isn't too firm or too soft—it's "just right." The suite also includes a Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, vanity, and spacious custom-tiled walk-in shower.



The secondary bedroom suite features a comfortable king bed with a luxury firm OnyxLUX mattress. Designed for guests who prefer a slightly firmer sleep experience, it offers a feel similar to premium luxury hotel mattresses. This suite includes a closet, Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, vanity, and tub/shower combination.



Both bedroom suites have exterior doors that open onto the secluded screened porch.



There is also a convenient half bath with a toilet and sink, as well as a laundry room with a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience.



Back outside near the covered front porch, you'll find a rock fire pit surrounded by five comfortable Adirondack chairs. Guests are welcome to use small pieces of fallen wood from the property that safely fit inside the fire pit, and firewood bundles are available for purchase at nearby stores.



Please burn only firewood, as guests often roast food over the fire pit. Extendable marshmallow roasters are provided in a kitchen drawer, so don't forget the ingredients for s'mores! There is also a wood/charcoal BBQ grill nearby.

OUR POLICIES

Guests will receive an email to electronically sign a vacation rental agreement and upload a photo ID before the reservation is complete.

This property is dog-friendly for small dogs only (under 20 lbs).

Maximum of 2 dogs allowed.

A $69 pet fee applies per dog.

Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.

Quiet hours are from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Exterior security cameras are located on the property.

Parking is limited to 2 vehicles unless otherwise authorized.

A $300 security deposit hold is required.

Guests may receive text and email communications regarding their stay.
