The property was clean and comfortable and a close walk to the Cal Train and Stanford Shuttles. It was perfect location for my research trip. I would definitely stay here if again.

Nicely designed and equipped space

Great location for a short stay near stanford

The apartment had everything I needed for my short stay near campus. Centrally located and easy to get around using the bike provided.

The location was excellent. I was attending an event at Stanford University, and it was very easy to travel to the events. There are good restaurants close by. The unit was very clean and it was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay in every way.

A perfect stay

This is an absolute gem. The place is peaceful and beautiful. Yet it’s an easy walk to some of the best restaurants in town. Highly recommend!

I stayed for business trip. The place worked well. It was clean and comfortable in a safe residential area. Owners communicated clearly. I’d highly recommend this place.

A lovely little gem

It's a nice tidy space for a short stay. The neighborhood is lovely; there are walking paths. It's also within walking distance to shopping and eateries. And the studio is well stocked; a tiny kitchen has just about all the conveniences one needs.

A Little Gem

We stayed for two nights. The place while small is perfect for a short stay, and is wonderfully designed. Large windows allow lights to fill the space, and the yard provides plenty privacy. The kitchenette is very well stocked. The neighborhood is safe, walkable, and lovely with most houses displaying their tastes for plants and landscape.

Great place and Great Location

My wife and I stayed here while visiting my elderly parents in Palo Alto. The place was clean and comfortable. Also perfect location. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. Occasionally you could hear a train go by in the distance, but the noise was minimal. We were not disturbed by it at all. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the hosts for making our stay easy and pleasant.

Easy Access to Stanford - Wonderful Stay

I often stay with friends or in hotels when I visit Palo Alto, but hotels were either full or incredibly expensive, and friends were unavailable. When I found this studio so close to Stanford, I jumped on it. The neighborhood was lovely, it was very easy to get over to Stanford, and the accommodations were first-rate. Everything I needed was there, I did not have any issue with the train noise (but it was nice to know about it beforehand), and the setting was private.I will not hesitate to stay here again!

Cute, clean and convenient

A pleasant, modern, clean and convenient spot if in the Stanford area and all you need is a bed, an efficiency kitchen and a small table with chairs for one or two people who will sleep together. Bed might be a bit small for 2 larger people. Walkable to the university, Stanford Shopping Center, Menlo Park and Palo Alto. Comes with ear plugs if train noise bothers you but we hardly noticed it with bare ears.

Good Location and Condition, but an Overly Restrictive Tone

The location and the overall condition of the accommodation were perfectly fine, and I personally had no issues during my stay.However, what left a negative impression was the excessive emphasis on warnings and prohibitions. From food waste disposal and cleaning rules to parking and smoking, there were constant reminders and strict instructions throughout the stay.I understand the need for house rules, and I’m someone who always uses a place carefully and leaves it clean. But the way these rules were communicated felt overly restrictive and somewhat unwelcoming, which unfortunately created a sense of resistance rather than reassurance.A slightly warmer, more trust-based tone would make the experience feel much more pleasant.

Paradise!

Beautifully designed and decorated very comfortable cottage in peaceful, treed neighborhood. Longish but pleasant walk to Stanford campus; easy walk to coffee, restaurants. Great communication and easy access to the unit, despite our late-night arrival. Trains whistle in the night, but earplugs supplied:) Would absolutely love to stay here again.

Spacious studio, generous closet and large updated, clean bathroom. Kitchen is well stocked. Overlooks beautiful backyard. Private, meticulously landscaped side entrance with safety light. Quiet neighborhood with many walking trails. Delightful stay!

The hosts are very nice and the studio is clean, nicely lit, and comfortable. The only improvement I would suggest is a softer duvet cover. The area is a quiet neighborhood near university ave. There is a shaded walking path very close to the house that I used every morning. Overall an excellent place to stay.

vacation in our backyard!

Menlo Park is in close proximity to beautiful Carmel, Half Moon Bay and on the way to Carmel, a fun trip to the gilroy outlet mall. ( where they have a LULU store) :-). We live in EAST BAY and just needed a fresh environment! This little unit with shared wall to their home, made for a perfect weekend getaway. The little studio feels brand new, & nice amenities! The decor is clean, modern and very beautifully done. Loved the FANCY black and white bathroom! There is a stove top, fridge and microwave so you can cook. TV had cable so you can watch movies which was nice. The unit has large windows (4) that outlook to a pool and huge orange tree. Highly recommend it. Hosts were pleasant and attentive. There’s a mention of the train. I found it charming and not at all a problem! The only thing was a took awhile to heat the unit, but they had heating blankets that helped. Overall, very pleased we chose it!
