Cute little cabin, we have stayed here before and would come back in the future. Easy access. The only downside is having to take your own trash with you when you leave. It wasn't a problem at all, just a little odd to me. But otherwise it was relaxing and enjoyable.

Very secluded quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed a nice quiet walk on the trail. Very easy to unlock the. door. Bathrooms are Very nice It was very clean The onlly things wrong was the truth second step from the bottom of the step was broken.

We didn't cook during our stay but the microwave tray doesn't turn so heated items tend to burn. Towels in mstr bath were extremely thin & worn. Mstr bath needs a complete update, some shower tiles cracked & grout missing or black. No towel rods or hooks to hang up towels. The bed however was very comfortable & the cabin was clean.

Kitchen faucet barely trickled water, jet tub did not work, very little light outside due to no bulbs or burnt out bulbs, 2 small trashbags left for us for a 7day stay. Have to take your trash to the dump drop off in town (Menlo). Dog friendly but the crate they provide is outside with a moldy pad in it. Do not recommend.

I had to clear the property myself before utilization.False Claim of a Fully Stocked Refrigerator with Basic Cooking Ingredients - The listing explicitly stated:"Fully stocked refrigerator with complimentary basic cooking ingredients for your convenience."However, the refrigerator was completely bare, with no non-perishable basics such as flour, sugar, or cooking essentials.Unclean & Poor Property ConditionsThe property was unclean and in poor condition upon arrival. Maintenance issues included:Kitchen stove missing a knobBroken humidifierDishwasher door dropping to the floor when openedThe host required guests to strip beds and remove all linens before departure. Adequate accommodations

The cabin is pretty good, about what I would expect for the price point. It is spacious and clean enough (not spotless). It worked just fine for a family of four hiking enthusiasts. However, it would NOT sleep 8 people. The living room furniture is terribly uncomfortable. The master bed needs a platform or box spring to raise it to a reasonable height. I did appreciate being able to do laundry, and the kitchen had everything needed for basic meals. The location and woodland setting are fantastic. As I mentioned, we travel quite a bit and knew not to expect luxury here, so we were in no way disappointed. The only thing I would consider a complaint is the inaccurate listing i.e. beds, and the fact that the water heater makes very loud noises which might need some attention.

Nice place

Wonderful host, place need some tlc tho. Cleaning was below expectations. Don't visit during a snowstorm, if you want to adventure around because people are not used to it and most businesses close down even with just 2 inches of snow. Only few food stores will open.

It is located in a serene location with lots of privacy and trails to walk. The host made special accommodations for us to arrive a tad early so I could stay on schedule with my health regimen. We will definitely run away to this cabin again for some rest and relaxation!

Comfortable Stay

The cabin was mostly as described, however it does not sleep 8; it sleeps 6. The property was secluded and a great place for the kids and our dogs to play. Very close to many great waterfall hikes. The kitchen was a little light on utensils, it was a good thing my daughters came up a day after us so they could bring supplies from home.

Beautiful older cabin secluded in the woods! If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life you can totally refresh in this quiet place. I loved it and will be back!

Nice cabin in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay. The place is very secluded and private. It is a little dated but served us well. The bed was very comfortable but a little low making it difficult for older folks to get in and out of. After some problems getting the heat turned on, everything was just great. We were able to stream of TV shows from our phone so we didn't miss any of our favorite shows. Highly recommend De Soto State Park and Little River Canyon National Preserve as places to explore. Would defiantly stay again.

Another Awesome Stay

We stay in the area when visiting family and this is our go-to place when it's available! We come back for a reason! It's a great location with a lot of open space. There's no seeing the neighbors from here. It's easy to miss the drive if you're going for the first time so just look for the electrical wires crossing the road above! The cabin is lovely with a great kitchen/eating area, as well as good Internet and television service through the ROKU TV that you may be able to log into your own TV service through (we have Youtube TV so it was no problem). Thanks for another awesome stay!

Cabin Getaway

This was a great home base to visit all the parks in the area. We loved coming back here after a day of exploring and still being surrounded by nature in the adorable cabin. The layout was perfect with us downstairs and my teenage son and his friend in the room upstairs in the loft. Two bathrooms was a olus! Can’t wait to stay here again.
