This location is unbeatable, and we loved having so much room to spread out after a week of cramped hotel rooms, not to mention laundry facilities! The kitchen is extremely large, clean and well-stocked. Despite coastal fog every day but our last, the ocean view is stunning and coffee or wine on your own ocean view porch was a daily treat. Don't skip walking the Headlands Path, which has spectacular views. It was great to quickly walk to a delicious dinner at McCallum House, fabulous breakfasts at Goodlife Cafe, and unique shopping. We enjoyed the architecture of this village and spotting all the old water towers.

Absolutely outstanding location. It exceeded our expectations. The place is decorated and outfitted with everything you need. The furniture, appliances and the rest of the amenities are all really high quality. The patio has a fantastic view and the local shops are beautiful. What a relaxing vacation!

Perfect long weekend getaway

Excellent views and location. It was larger than expected based on the photos. Ideally situated in Mendocino. The whole town is walkable from here. A short walk to the steps (behind the church) to the beach. Excellent restaurants nearby (Trillium! GoodLife!). Walking distance to the grocery store and health food store. Short drive to beautiful hikes (Russian Gulch State Park) and kayaking. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Mendocino View

We had a wonderful time in Mendocino. Mike and Eula's unit was located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the Headlands. Clean, spacious, quiet, and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Gorgeous weather with stunning blue skies and ocean views.

Peaceful with Breathtaking View

Balcony was ideal for meals, drinks, taking in the ambiance & people watching. Perfect for two couples who can share a single bathroom. The kitchen is quite adequate & spacious that includes a full size dining table for 6 and a beautiful bar area with seating for 4. On cool evenings we especially enjoyed the warmth from the electric fireplace. The two QN beds were firm but really comfy. Both had wonderful linens, lofty comforters & an abundance of pillows. While the back bedroom doesn’t have an ocean view, it has a wonderful reading nook with a garden view & was very quiet. The modern decor was tasteful, warm & inviting. We would happily stay here again!

Best of the best

Bay View Loft is a spectacular lodging. The balcony and its views are stunning. Watching the ravens soaring over the Headlands and the ocean’s crashing waves beyond is my favorite activity. Great shopping and restaurants are right there. The apartment is beautiful with lots of windows, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a spacious shower.. I hope to return soon

I would definitely stay here again. Great place, perfect for 2 couples. The location couldn’t be better. Walking distance all around town. Beautiful view from the family room and bedroom, and great deck with table & chairs. Very clean. And simple check-in.

Amazing Place in Amazing Location

This place is everything the description and pictures describe. It was clean, well-set up, and in a great location. The hosts thought of little details that made our stay great. I also loved that there were drawers and hanging space in the closets. We really enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk everywhere and watching the sunset from the balcony. The hosts were incredibly easy to work with and quick to respond to our questions. We will definitely stay here again!
