Myself and friends had a great time staying here! The only issue we had with the accommodation was trying to find it in the first place as we were walking and not with a car however, we called the owner and they helped to direct us ASAP! 😊 The property does also come with a pool adjacent which is not advertised.

The apartment had beautiful views and an amazing terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment as a whole is perfect for large groups. We had a wonderful time. Areas for improvement are: (1) the apartment is tricky to find, use the instructions the hosts give you but these are also not very clear so they could do with some updating; (2) the listing should advertise that you can use the pool; (3) each bedroom could do with a fan in the summer given the heat; and (4) better communication with the hosts.

Great villa with plenty space for the whole family. Amazing views and outside space must be fantastic in the summer months - even great with coats on. Location as described - a 10 minute walk into Mennagio for the ferry and good choice of nearby restaurants, bars and local shops. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

On the plus side, the view is spectacular, there is good water pressure for a shower and you are only a kilometer or so from town. On the negative side, it was dirty when we arrived. There are no hair dryers, there is one towel in the kitchen, no hot pads to remove things from the oven, two of the showers on the lower level didn’t drain properly and would overflow, one also smelled moldy, the furniture is in terrible shape peeling all over the place, there is no ac but also no window screens. So when it got hot and you opened the windows to get some air, all kinds of bugs flew it. There were only about 5 rolls of toilet paper for a weeks stay with 8 adults. The instructions for the Wi-Fi are incorrect. The password on the sheet in the apartment is not useable. You have to scan the QR code on the back of the router that is on the floor behind a chair. It took two days to find that out. And just an FYI, the lock box is on the bottom of the garage door as you face it so a bit hard to see unless you can get really low to the ground. We left the place much cleaner than we found it.

This property is spacious, providing many options for guests with 6 bedrooms (3 with fantastic views) and 4 bathrooms. Similarly, the outside terrace is great for socialising and eating outdoors, while you can relax on lounges on the grassy area. The view is incredible, so worth the walk from town if you don’t drive (but it is a dirt track, and steep in parts). We did experience some basic maintenance issues - some were rectified in one day, others in six days after multiple conversations with the property manager and so hopefully don’t occur again for future guests. The living room furniture does need to be replaced though as it is severely torn, worn and shredded and can stain clothing - it’s an unfortunate detraction from the overall quality of this very good, versatile, accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay here. Pros: Awesome view, 6 bedrooms/4 bth, great deck, great kitchen. Quiet area. Super clean on arrival. Rental company provided a welcome pkt that while thoughtful, was made for 2 not 6, which somewhat diluted its impact. Neutral: 15 min.walk from town -OK w/us. 4-5 flights of stairs to get in. 3 of the deck's chairs never worked but were still there. NO AC: this was not a big deal & location had many fans. If important to you: be advised. Pool; never used, but looked OK Gardening & pool maintenance came during our stay. Locating property: Happy Rentals gave good directions but strongly recommend you thoroughly work the route out on goggle maps *in advance*. It's a bit of a 'do' to drive into and the roads here don't accommodate quick turn-arounds: all adds time. Cons: Not all the fans worked: we reported but this should be checked @ each rental: guests shouldn't have to discover this. The lounge chairs in the area above the pool (not deck) haven't been used for many years it appears. They were immersed in weeds and grass that had not been attended all season. Not a good look. The living room furniture is worn to the point of being unfit for guests: large portions of the 'pleather' are worn away on backs & arms This really needs to be taken care of; it is a significant detraction from an otherwise attractive property. I would stay here again with a large group. Overall: B+ Cons are easy fixes to achieve an A+.

Wonderful property with fantastic views in very quite area. Multiple bedrooms, 3 with lake views. Did not get to use the kitchen so can’t comment on contents. Having a private swimming pool was great. Indoor two car garage was great for us since we had two cars. One of the showers overflowed but we managed to clean up quickly. 15 minute walk into town. We had no problems with it. Can be an a challenge for anyone who has mobility issues. The hosts were very responsive. Getting to the property could be a challenge but the hosts provided outstanding directions which were perfect. Highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay and had an amazing view. Great location, but the penthouse can be a challenge with lots of luggage. The home isn’t cleaned thoroughly or maintained. There was hair behind all doors, torn and worn furniture and shower head broken. One shower leaked through the bottom into the master bedroom. They need to leave trash bags and basic cleaning supplies.

The property was beautiful, good location. We could not get a taxi from the ferry so it was difficult walking up the steep gravel walkway with luggage. But it was worth it!

We all had a lovely stay. The outdoor space and views are just incredible. Short 8 minute walk to town to pick up boat to other areas. Restaurants are about a 12 minute walk. Only downside is locating the house is challenging, even with all the directions provided. Most want to take the direct route which involves a gravel washed out road. When departing our transportation vehicle couldn't/wouldn't come up that road so we had to drag our luggage down half the road. Would recommend the road be repaired. The kitchen had everything you need to cook and entertain. A few fans were not working and only one working hair dryer. Recommend a few additional fans for the common area and all bedrooms. I'm sure the property company will address these issues. All in all a fantastic place and again the porch and patio views were never tiring. Love Menaggio.

The views from this home are stunning, with the sunrise over Varenna. The outdoor space is excellent with a large space for dining. Of the 6 bedrooms, 4 are good sized and 2 are a bit small. The house is a good option for a large family. The walk down the hill to the town of Menaggio is a pleasant 10 minute walk but probably not manageable for older or less mobile people. It is a dirt road with potholes and no lighting in the evening. The kitchen is well stocked and while there isn’t AC, there are plenty of fans. The house is also conveniently located near the ferry terminal.

Belle maison mais trop compliquée: non localisée (on a du fortement insister pour avoir une image GoogleMap pour voir où était la maison), piscine fermée le lendemain de notre arrivée sans aucune explication (on était hors période Covid et avec de fortes chaleurs), système de poubelles ne correspondant pas a la description et le service client ne répond jamais ! On a essayé de nombreuses fois d'avoir une explication pour la piscine et aucune personne joignable. Ce n'est vraiment pas au niveau des tarifs pratiqués. Pour le reste l'appartement est très bien.

Modern villa part way up the hill from town, well suited for a group of 10. Beautiful side deck overlooking the lake, charcoal grill for cooking. Walk to town is easy, and great access to ferry terminals. Store at the bottom of the hill has just about everything you need to purchase, and there are two butcher shops just beyond that store, Did a lunch wine tour at Sorasso winery in Domaso - highly recommend that vineyard. We did not rent a car and didn't need one in town. Used Welcome Pickups for transfer from Milan airport to the villa. Its a little tricky to get from town to the villa by vehicle unless you take the unpaved road which is much easier. Great vacation, relaxing yet active touring Menaggio, Varenna, and Belagio.

Perfecto!! 9 adults were more than comfortable in this beautiful, spacious penthouse condo. We are all home now missing the spectacular views from the terrace and the easy walk to town and ferry for wonderful days of exploring Lake Como. Highly recommend!!!
