Our family absolutely loved this house!
What we loved:
The home was beautiful! It had a great layout with an open concept and was very spacious and welcoming. The kitchen and primary suite bathroom were amazing. All the beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows and blankets and even the towels in the bathroom. The home had nice amenities and I would rate it 9/10 for cleanliness. (The baseboards throughout the home need wiped down really good.) The location as far as proximity to the places we were in town for (St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and then the zoo and Bass Pro Shop, Tanger Outlets in MS) was very convenient.
What we weren’t so crazy about:
We didn’t realize the home was less than half a mile from a heavily used railroad track and just a few miles from the airport. There was considerable noise from both throughout the day AND night!
The biggest downfall with this place though is the neighborhood and the parking!! The home is located on a narrow, crowded street with people parking on both sides of the street. This made it incredibly difficult to back out of the driveway in a minivan. The neighborhood smells like marijauna and we saw a homeless man dumping his trash in our trash can one morning. Like many urban areas, some of the other homes on the street were nice and well maintained, but many were rundown. It’s definitely not a neighborhood you’d feel safe taking a stroll through.
