CAMILA ALEJANDRA BRICENO EWERT. You were aware that you had a reservation set to check out on 01/23/2021 and you failed to make a new booking. When you did it was for the wrong date and you smoked in the room as well and the credit card on record was declined for payment on the damages.

All the staff were exceptional and very helpful with our needs. The front desk staff were very nice. And your cookies were to die for. If we ever return to Memphis, we will surely stay there again.

The room was decent sized. Cleanliness was definitely lacking, we found a used towel in the dresser drawer that was covered in something pink colored. The room had a dingy smell and there was paint all over the headboard from a recent renovation. The staff at the check-in counter were rude and impersonal. We had dinner in the bar/restaurant, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our waitress to come and take our food order. The bar tender was very friendly and his service was wonderful.

It took a long time to check in because they couldn't find my reservation. When we got to the room, we were disappointed by the condition. The carpet was stained and frayed, the tile in the bathroom was dirty, thebathroom fan was not functional, there were huge gouges in the furniture. The blackout shades were not great and let in lots of light. They have only cable no streaming. Some of the charging outlets did not work. The beds were comfortable. The bedding was nice and there was a nice selection of firm and soft pillows. Despite the problem at check in, staff was exceptionally friendly and warm, but I will not stay at Doubletree again. For the price, I expected the room to be better maintained.

It seems they are short staffed, or just don't pay attention to details. Our room for four had 1 cup, 2 towels, and all the lotion/shampoo/soap containers were empty. There were not sheets on the kids' bed and we had to request these very standard things and it was just a pain in the butt.

We stayed on 3/15. The man behind the counter was very friendly and our rooms were ready before check in time!! Found bugs in the room and bathtub. There were multiple spots on the wall that you could tell had not been cleaned. The cabinet under the sink where the towels are had dry crusted tooth paste on it. Not much room to sit at the indoor pool. Kids were unsupervised jumping off the landscaping into 3ft of water. The kids were being extremely rough with each other in the pool. It became too chaotic for my 7 year old and his friend. We started trying to go to bed around 9:30. We could hear people hollering and being loud at the outside pool. That stopped around 10. About 10:15 the people next door to us were letting their multiple children run up and down the hallway yelling at each other. They continued to go in and out of their room SLAMMING the door. This continued until 1:45AM. I attempted to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t working. Other than the friendly guy when we checked in, I was pretty disappointed but the location was convenient for our trip. I probably would not stay here again.

The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful however the rest of the front desk staff during our stay made us feel we were inconveniencing them and a had bad attitudes about answering questions, not one smile with anyone except the first person that checked us in.

Security in parking lot good. Elevators poor (one broken) the working one was slow and dirty. Housekeeping poor, workers surly and did not clean well. Linens and towels piled in hallways all day, trash not emptied from room, failed to provide fresh towels for last day. One coffee in room, no extra cups or refills for 3 days.

This was a stay over/extension of my stay. It seemed to be a problem for the hotel. The hotel required me to “check out” then “check in” and took another deposit rather than simply extending my keys the evening before so I could stay. Additionally I asked if it was possible to receive a refund for this night since I no longer was required to stay and they said to contact Expedia. Expedia says to contact the hotel.

The front staff at night are on point if the the goal is to ignore the guest, stay on your phone, then just say ...no, to an extra pillow. No, there are no "special cookies" when you check in. (And i had heard that was a treat) service when the night crew comes on is non existent. Worst double tree ive ever stayed at. Elevators not working, leaking water everywhere. Yuck.

Stayed 6 nights. The location of the hotel is great! Many restaurants and grocery options nearby! The property and the room were decent for a 3-star hotel. However, I faced four issues that affected my score: 1) The room service cleaned the room once every few days. The front desk was not honest about it and every time I asked, they assured me the room service will come that day and for 2 nights that didn't happen, which my trash was full and I didn't have clean towels. I appreciated if the front desk were upfront about it so I could plan accordingly. 2) There was a power outage on a busy weekday morning and I had to use the stairs to go up and down the 6th floor several times. 3) Most of the staff were friendly, but once I got a grumpy staff at the buffet breakfast that was complaining about her day nonstop to her colleagues and also got my order completely wrong and didn't seem to care at all. 4) My room was missing the safe, and even though I asked the front desk several times for one, they didn't deliver. If these issues had not happened, I would give it 4 stars.

Beautiful hotel but don’t swim in the winter. The pool is indoor and outdoor , plenty of warm jets but it’s still just TOO cold .

Unfortunately, crime does not have a zip code and sometimes incidents may occur. However, we take the safety of our property and guest very seriously and have 24-hour security onsite. This has provided our guest with the assurance they can count on.

So I’m pretty bummed because we usually love staying at The Doubletree. However this time is very different. We were charged an extra $50 fee for potential incidentals (that is supposedly returned upon departure and room is checked over making sure you did not do any damages). Make sure you do check in photos and videos and exit ones to protect yourself and to give accurate reviews!!! We were never offered our typical welcome cookies and our room was dirty. I took pics and showed the front desk staff and she didn’t even blink when I told them there were bugs in our room! I also told her our door to the bathroom only opens halfway and she told the handyman who just walked away and didn’t care. We also didn’t even have enough towels in our room for the 3 of us. While I waited for more towels another two people came up and said they needed more towels as not enough were placed in the room. The one young woman tried to hand her this soiled looking towel that they had found upon checking in and was stuffed in their closet! Super gross! The restaurant was a huge disappointment with rude waitresses that did not even acknowledge us as we waited ab 9 mins to get water. No one ever came up to us and after 10 mins we left and walked across the road to an Italian place that is pricey, but great service and great food. If we ever came to this area again we would not stay here. Doubletrees good service and cleanliness has changed! I will try to post pics and short video of the situation.
