"We loved our stay here. Stylish, spacious and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. The pub and rooms had been recently refurbished with great care. We stayed in room 8 which backed out onto the courtyard behind the pub and had velux windows which you could watch the stars through. Despite being part of a pub, we found our room to be very quiet after 9pm. Breakfast was fantastic, the veggie option was delicious and the ingredients felt very high quality. "Great place to stay just outside Bath with an easy bus route into the City Centre opposite the Rose and Crown. The hosts were all friendly and helpful and the place was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good , a great choice of fresh tasty treats. We will stay again."

"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!! And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it "
