"We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. Don’t be put off by the facade as once you step inside the hotel it is wonderful. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful and they work really hard. The room was really clean with super comfy beds and the air con was fabulous. The evening meal we had was very enjoyable and good value for money. The breakfast was again excellent with just the right amount of choice and at £10 each was again very good value for money. We would not hesitate...

"I was very happy with my stay. I just feel they need to put a stronger fan in the room, as the rooms are upstairs and has a skylight window, which can't be opened and so the room gets extremely hot in there. The fan they have is not strong enough to keep the room cool, especially on extremely hot days. Otherwise the staff were excellent and the food is simply amazing."

"Set in a lovely building and village with beautiful views. Really recommend. Rooms a little bit tired but did not ruin our stay as it was a great base. Mexican restaurant, bar and outside space was lovely. There is a local shop and some pubs within walking distance in the village too. Close to Yeovil etc. Would definitely stay again. Thank you"

"This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in a luxury double room, which was nice with a spacious bathroom and great shower. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced and staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking across the road from the hotel."

"Lovely place & location, clean & well maintained, we had a great room (Deluxe double room), lovely decor. Dedicated free parking at the rear, staff mainly very helpful, lovely outdoor courtyard area. Just let down by a few things - housekeeping did not replenish the room coffee pods or milk, nor the loo roll (we had to go hunting for these), and although the food was mostly OK (though avocado well past its best!), we had an unacceptably long wait for our cooked breakfast (25 mins after ordering...
