A really lovely property to stay close by for our son’s wedding at the nearby winery. Di and Clive and their gorgeous dog were all friendly. Beds were so comfortable and the views are spectacular. Unfortunately the ‘breakfast included’ provisions were definitely not enough for our group of 4 at all- we’d recommend you take your own food. We had to go back out to get eggs and tea etc. Lots of room to spread out and get ready as well as relax and chat.

Lovely house, idyllic location

Seven of us fitted in, no problem for a week. The heated pool was a wonderful add on. Superb views over the valley, sometimes covered in mist early morning, drenched in sunshine most other times. Bird life amazing. Could be more storage in the bedrooms. Clive and Di very helpful when needed.

Beautiful home with a stunning backyard!

We spent most of our time enjoying the pool, and it was a wonderful place to stay. The owners are absolutely lovely and welcoming. However, there were a few details that weren’t fully clear from the listing.Communication was minimal, and while the house was left unlocked for us, no keys were provided—even after reaching out to the owner for the lockbox pin. This meant we had to leave the house unlocked when we went out, and at night, we would have preferred to secure the doors, especially with young children who tend to explore. Given the pool and the size of the property, having the ability to lock up would have provided extra peace of mind.Additionally, we had expected a more private setting, but the property is part of a working nursery, and the owners’ house is just a few metres away. The pool is also shared with the owners, though they were away for most of our stay, which allowed for some privacy.Another detail that was misleading in the listing was the mention of a hot tub—unfortunately, there was no hot tub or bath available.Overall, it’s a beautiful place with kind hosts, but these details are worth considering for those looking for a fully private retreat or specific amenities.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay - to be able to visit people and do some touristy things both in Melbourne and in the Yarra Valley, but also be able to relax in comfort away from everything at the end of the day was a blessing. Can't recommend this place enough

It was fantastic again!

For the second time we enjoyed a wonderful stay with Di and Clive. The house and the birds around the house are great and the view over Yarra Vally is so incredibly beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful stay and the hospitality of Di and Clive.

Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic weekend, the accommodation is very good and comfortable. The views are fabulous and we spent a lot of the weekend in the pool! Highly recommended for a great weekend away! We will definitely be back

Lovely Views & bird-life

We were a family of 6 adults so the house was the perfect size for us.House was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Di & Clive were easy to communicate with and help if we required anything. The accomodation is close to all of Yarra Valley's attractions. The welcoming champagne & cheeses was lovely as was the supply of eggs, bacon & bread for our breakfast! The bathrooms were very luxurious. We especially enjoyed the views, large garden and the visits from the local parrots!
