Perfect Peaceful Getaway

My bestie and I were very blessed to have stayed here for 4 nights as a mini escape from our high-stress jobs. Absolutely perfect cottage, easy to find in Olinda and central to everything. The cottage is only a short drive from Sassafras, Belgrave, etc. so we were able to go out each day and have mini day trips and then return in the evening.The cottage itself was beautiful, we loved the fireplace and the spa and the views out the windows; we had everything we needed. The balcony was a highlight for me with kookaburras. Pia Tim also made us a beautiful hamper for our stay. Communication was excellent instructions about staying were very clear and easy to understand and follow.Nothing to fault no complaints. We would love to return I'll be recommending this place to all of my friends for future getaways.Thank you Pia Tim for having us! Kind regards from LJ & Jayden x

Beautiful mountain private getaway!!

We arrived on Christmas Day and in advance, Pia told us many things would not be open. She offered to get us a couple days food if I would reimburse her. I didn’t hesitate and she was an amazing shopper! She thought of everything and every little touch in the cottage is so well suited for the space. The kucooburrow came to visit on the small terrace one evening which was special. Pia’s communication is impeccable and I highly recommend this place!! It was a wonderful way to spend Christmas and a few days afterward.

Great short stay

Spent two very comfortable nights in the cottage below road level and surrounded by trees. Easy to find. Well lit steps down are wide and shallow and not slippery even after heavy rain. Generous breakfast ingredients. Didn’t try any of the electronics as we were relaxing. Close to many walks and activities

Perfect weekend away

The perfect mini moon

We had a wonderful time staying at Wild Orchid Olinda for our mini honeymoon, Pia was very helpful with any information we needed during our stay and checkin was really convenient. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (and local produce) the fireplace and spa bath was the perfect. The location is beautiful and you feel like you’re sleeping in the tree tops ❤️ Thank you again Pia ❤️

Absolute perfection!

We just loved our stay at the wild orchid. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary, we lit the fire, snuggled on the cosy couch, enjoyed being surrounded by the trees, beautiful breakfast supplied and loved walking to the local venues. It was exactly what we were hoping for ( even the rain over the weekend just made it great for cosying up inside) The hosts were wonderful and we couldn't reccomend this place more!

Relaxing Getaway

The Cottage is so clean, cozy and beautifully arranged, providing everything you need. The location and surrounds are beautiful, private enough but still just a short drive away from local shops and cafés. The owner is friendly and accommodating, happy to take care of their guests.

Storybook Cottage

Absolutely beautiful stay in this gorgeous cottage. Pia was the perfect hostess, warm and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is incredibly cozy and comfortable with everything you could possibly need, and perfectly located within an easy walk to both Olinda and Mt Dandenong townships. Surrounded by calming forest, you can't help but feel relaxed. Thank you so much, Pia - can't wait to return.

Wonderful private cottage

This property was as delightful as advertised -- spacious, all necessary amenities -- and Pia and Tim were most accommodating and pleasant hosts. A great value. Our stay was for 13 days and each evening it truly felt like we were returning home.

Beautiful cottage, ideal location and stunning outlook!

I spent the weekend with my partner at the Wild Orchid cottage and words cannot describe the wonderful experience that was had! Seamless check-in procedure, due to Pia who is a wonderful host, who provided extremely thorough details when communicating entry/exit and all the other finer points to ensure the experience is maximised! The cottage itself is a delight, extremely cosy and with a beautiful surrounding outlook! The rustic breakfast provisions were outstanding, along with a fully equipped kitchen to prepare the breakfast! The local towns are a short drive or even within walking distance, so I found the location of the cottage very convenient! Overall, Wild Orchid is highly recommended and I look forward to staying again in the near future! Thank you again Pia for the wonderful experience! Andrew and Catherine Anne!

Excellent gem in Olinda

Wild Orchid Olinda is a very well equipped cottage, and has everything you could need for your stay. The breakfast provisions provided were excellent. If you plan on cooking during your stay, be aware there is no oven, but this can be seen from the photos. The wood fireplace is excellent in winter, for the ambience and for some additional heating, with plenty of firewood provided too. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage....it’s in a beautiful part of the world and the cottage was clean, warm, cosy and full of charm....and we were provided with some yummy edibles too. Thanks for a great stay.
