    Welcome to The Wanderer in Rye. The ideal getaway for year-round escapes! This charming home features one spacious bedroom, and a serene outdoor escape. The outdoor bath creates the ideal area to relax and unwind. Inside, a warm fireplace creates a snug atmosphere during the cooler months, ensuring you stay comfortable no matter the season. The perfect spot for a peninsula escape.

    *A note on Pets: Pet's are subject to approval as the house is not suited for all pets.

    We ask they stay off all furniture. Any pet mess, including number 2's and pet hair, must be cleaned up by the guest or extra cleaning fees will be charged. Only house trained, no malting small indoor dogs are allowed. No Cats. Extra cleaning fee can amount to $200.

The home is just minutes from Rye’s pristine beaches, perfect for swimming, kayaking, or simply unwinding in the sun.



    Getting Around:

    Getting around the Mornington Peninsula is best done by car, as it allows you the freedom to explore the region's stunning beaches, vineyards, and picturesque towns at your own pace. Public transportation options are limited, making a car essential for accessing popular attractions like the breathtaking coastline, local wineries, and scenic drives.



    Other Things to Note:

    Guest Limit Policy: The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time—day or night—must not exceed the number stated on the listing. Due to strict insurance requirements, additional visitors beyond the booked guests are not permitted. Therefore, any breach of this rule may result in immediate eviction and enforcement of penalties.



    House Rules (Important, please read)



    To ensure a pleasant stay and maintain good relations with our neighbours and the local council, please adhere to the following:



    1. Every group must sign a booking agreement provided by Peachy Properties, valid drivers license / ID required.

    2. A security deposit via credit card pre-authorisation is required for non-Airbnb bookings, released 3 days post-checkout.

    3. Outdoor areas are off-limits after 10:30 PM, including decks, balconies..

    4. No parties or unapproved gatherings allowed at any time.

    5. Loud music or activities that disturb neighbours are prohibited at all times; the property has Noise Alarms.

    6. No "schoolies, bucks or hens' bookings. Please adhere to this policy.

    7. No bookings from groups under the age of 25.

    8. Smoking is prohibited both inside and outside the property.

    9. Only the number of guests specified in your booking can be on the property, with a strict maximum of 2 guests unless prior approval is obtained.

    10. Parking is only permitted in designated areas on the property; no street or nature strip parking - There is space for 1-2 cars in the driveway.

    NOTE: Reservation is not 100% confirmed until guest verification process has been completed. Strict council rules apply to this listing.



    For non-airbnb bookings a security bond hold is charged 3 days before booking and released 7 days post. The bond is $250.
