It is in a laneway so not the grand entranve style hotel, but only one street away from trams, pubs, coffee shops and food. All within the free tram zone, which is an excellent service the city of Melbourne provides. Also leas than 2 mins walk to the old trolle tram 35 - melbournes tourism tram - also free - go melbourne

I think I have stayed in better 4 start hotels than this. The room was ok but there was hair on the pillow. The arm chair had a stain, the bathroom was too old, some motels would have better bathrooms, paint chipping off, and the body wash was empty. I called room service 6 times and it remained answered, i complained while checking out to Maleeka, she apologised but didn’t seem to care much.

There was an issue with the light beside my bed that made it unable to turn off all night, which could not be fixed until the next day and really affected my sleep. Other than that it was very clean and comfortable with a great pool.

Family was looking forward to buffet breakfast, but it was quite small and only average. Hotel faces a carpark. For the price we paid, it did not feel like a 4.5 star hotel. The common areas felt cramped and unimpressive. Nothing was bad, but we did feel disappointed for the price we paid and what we were expecting.

Was really disappointed with this stay - booked two rooms for our family of 5 , check in was at 3pm but the adjoining room wasn’t ready until 4.30pm so we were given another room on the same floor which was fine until we realised it had a view of a wall & seemed dark & not inviting. Our corner m room had a nice view but there was mould all on the bathroom blind & the roof paint was tired & chipped. Room service issues in each order - was rectified each time but still frustrating. We were told a cocktail (that was over a hour late) was on the house but we’re still charged $24. The pool was lovely & the staff were friendly & helpful. For the price I expected much more & wouldn’t stay there again.

The vanity plug got stuck, the internal blind in the bathroom remained permanently open so we had to use the toilet in full view, the cloth bed head had brown head stains, there was an mix up regarding who we were on arrival and how many nights we had stayed when we departed, the air conditioning was a bit annoying at night, we expected Netflix to be available without having to access by our own phones. The staff were very pleasant and helpful

Comfortable stay in Melbourne CBD
We spent 3 nights at Sheraton. It was very conveniently located on the fringe of the CBD. Parking opposite was also handy. The room was comfortable and clean if basic. Breakfast was excellent with a great range of options in the buffet.

Hotel was booked as a present for another person. 3pm check in awkward for early morning arrival.
Bed - 5 stars
Layout - 3 stars. Awkward having to reach over desk and television cabinet to open and close curtains.
Bathroom- 2 stars - bath deep enough but uncomfortable for height challenged people if they wanted to lie back and soak. Toilet brush needed, as any defaecation that doesn’t make it into the water because of the bowl shape needs to be assisted to go down.
Interesting to have two toilet roll holders with full rolls, but only provide a note pad with two sheets of paper
Room service - 3 stars. Time between ordering and delivery good. Room service personnel friendly and professional. Food quality and attention to detail average. Fries were cold, missing aioli condiment and wrong drink delivered. Ordered soda water and was sent tonic water. Oysters were amazing.
