This was an extremely disappointing stay, particularly given the very high price and the importance of the occasion for our family.While the listing did note BYO linen, the lack of any linen or towels on arrival led to a prolonged and stressful attempt to resolve the situation through the management company. Despite assurances, the issue was not rectified in a timely way. As a result, my wife and I ended up sleeping without linen and drying ourselves after showering with an old beach towel found in our car.The time spent trying to resolve this significantly detracted from what should have been a special stay. We are experienced travellers and have never encountered anything like this.The property itself also fell short of expectations for the price. Only the main living area and one bedroom are serviced by split systems; the rear bedrooms were musty and uncomfortably hot.A very low-value offer was made to resolve the issue, which did not reflect the impact of the experience and is why the matter has been escalated to the platform.
