Beautiful property, fantastic hosts!

I stayed at Saltwater Villa with a group of friends over the weekend for my bachelorette celebration, and absolutely loved my time at the property. The house itself was well-stocked, beautifully clean and the decor was lovely - guests also raved that the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of 12. There are so many fantastic entertaining spaces to enjoy, and the pool heating was a very welcome addition during a weekend of tumultuous weather so we could still enjoy a swim! The host Tamara was incredibly communicative, providing suggestions on what to do in the local area, along with a gorgeous basket of snacks to help us enjoy our stay. Would absolutely come back again in future. Thanks to Tamara for providing the perfect house for our weekend!

Lovely big house with an amazing pool

This house would be ideal for a large family or group with plenty of space and very comfortable accommodation. The pool is amazing and the property is perfect for pets and kids with a massive, secure backyard. The owners are just lovely to deal with and truly welcoming and accommodating to both human and 4-legged guests! Would highly recommend this place.

Saltwater villa

We had a 70th birthday celebration with 8 adults and 7 children under 8 years old. We had a wonderful time. The house was gorgeous and the pool was sensational. The children spent most of their time swimming!! It’s a wonderful place to celebrate and enjoy.

Incredible Summer Holiday Property!

We stayed here with our older teens and some of their friends and had an incredible stay. The teens loved the billard room and second living area, and of course the pool. We loved the outdoor dining area, the generous spacious kitchen and the master bedroom retreat. Our dog LOVED exploring the gardens and finally learning how to use a doggie door! This property is large, spacious and great for family groups - it's actually spread across three blocks. It's well located with a short drive to the front beach and grocery stores in one direction, and the back beach in another. Highly recommended, and we'll be back.

RYE Weekend

We had a lovely time at Saltwater Villa. The house is very spacious and well stocked with everything you need. Great for family groups as there is lots of spaces for everyone to hang out. The upstairs terrace has ocean views and a lovely space for a G&T at sunset. The beds were all very comfy and inviting. Good BBQ and pool area as well. We will definitely return.

Huge place. Swimming pool with gas was like a bath. TV's in every adult bedroom,

Walk to the main street was easy - we used google maps tho. Rye had everything we needed. Three adults and two toddlers, lets say we had afternoon sleeps, good for Nanna she got to lie in bed and watch a movie. We didn't use everything but there is a BBQ and lots of lounging around the pool in warmer months.

Highly recommended, especially for dogs

Wonderful property, I had a great mini break with 2 teens and 2 dogs. It really is a super dog friendly home. Huge for 3 people but we really enjoyed the space, especially the lovely gardens and of course the pool. Tamara was welcoming, thorough and made us all feel at ease immediately. Ill be back.

Entertainers Delight

A hidden gem walking distance to beach. My husband and i, along with 2 furbabies felt like we we're living in a tropical resort and had it all to ourselves. This property is big enough to cater for multiple families to stay with everything at hand. No need to pack the kitchen sink everything is here.The property and home is very clean and furnished beautifully. The weather was on the cooler side during our stay , but we managed to use the heated pool everyday , it was perfect . The dogs have plenty of room in the fully fenced and very private yard to occupy themselves for the whole stay. Being limited to where we could venture with dogs, this home was perfect for keeping us entertained with an abundance of games , puzzles, pool table, swimming, movies and the list goes on. Tamara was more than helpful and very friendly. We were suprised with a lovely hamper during our stay. Thanks Tamara :) Highly recommend this property, couldn't fault it ,we will be back for sure.

Easy to book for such amazing accommodation

My friends and I stayed at this residence for a golf weekend. Unfortunately the weather would not let us play golf so instead we made the full use of this amazing accommodation. The house is huge with so many rooms and amenities. From the pool to the pool table it was all amazing. Definitely recommend.

Fabulous home for a family and friends getaway

We all loved Tamara's beautiful property. So spacious and immaculate with everything you would ever need. The heated pool was amazing and kept the kids and grownups entertained for hours. The roof top terrace was a lovely get- away for cocktail hours without the kids. Our group of 11 of varying ages made the most of the billiard table and multiple living areas. Our holiday was a memorable experience and we would return in a heartbeat.

Our 2021 holiday at Rye!

The property was perfect for our family of 12 with 2 dogs! It caters for adults and children with a large swimming pool, shaded area and lots of lounge chairs. The rambling grounds provided many hours of entertainment for our grandchildren who loved playing hide and seek. The dogs certainly had lots of space as well. The large outdoor table around the bbq was a big hit and allowed us to have our meals altogether! We loved the layout of the various sleeping areas, the big and well equiped kitchen & meals area. The pool room was a big hit providing many hours of entertainment for adults as well as the older children. Everyone enjoyed the ability of watching their own programs with 5 separate big TVs throughout the house.We were pleasantly surprised to receive a very impressive hamper from the owners after we arrived! We have already decided to rebook the property next year!

Absolutely beautiful house with huge communal areas including a games room, open plan kitchen dining area, outside bbq, pool and balcony. Tamara the host went above and beyond to make us feel extremely welcome and comfortable during our stay - she even surprised us with a beautiful Christmas hamper filled with local cheeses & treats which we enjoyed on Christmas Day. Perfect Winter Getaway

Saltwater Villa is a beautiful home away from home. The house is spacious for all the extended family with cosy fireplaces, billiards table to keep the teens and adults amused, expansive gardens for our Rough Collie.... and the heated pool was just sensational! Who would have though we could swim outdoors in the middle of a Victorian winter! Tamara is an amazing host, helpful in every way and we would definitely love to stay again next winter!

Fantastic resort style property

We stayed for 3 weeks with an extended family, and really couldn't have asked for more. While the property is described as a villa, resort would be more accurate (it spans 3 or 4 normal residential blocks on 2 street frontages). There are basically 2 master bedrooms both with external access to decks and ensuites, plus a multitude of other bedrooms and 2 additional bathrooms. There are 5 lcd tv's in the property, the smallest which would be about 55 inch. 2 of the tv's have foxtel, and all have easily accessible HDMI inputs, so make sure the kids bring the Playstation. There is a very large open plan living area with a lovely north facing outlook. All appliances (including built in french door fridge / freezer and washer and dryer) are Miele. Really there isn't much more to say. Check in and check out was a breeze - we will definitely be back.
