This property in Rye was fantastic – perfectly located near the beach and shops, with a pool kept at the perfect temperature. The shower was the best I’ve ever had, and despite being pet friendly, the place was spotless with no pet smell at all. The host was wonderful and very easy to deal with – highly recommend!

Winter getaway

We had such a great time away here with fam and our 2 dogs. The house was amazing, spacious, so clean, generously equipped for the doggies, so comfortable, heating worked perfectly, kitchen was well stocked, lots of games and books. Host was amazing to deal with, location was perfect for us with beach and parks close by. The best thing though was the pool! Well worth the extra to have it heated!

Holiday getaway

Property was great for a family getaway, furry friends friendly, plenty of room for play but privacy as well. Could have stayed in pool all day it was so nice overall great holiday experience

Fantastic

The house is beautiful and the pool is too-we hardly went to the beach as lounging in and by the pool is so lovely! We took our doggy’s who had a wonderful time with the toys and plenty of space to run off their energy. Tamara was awesome and provided info about anything you could want to do, see and eat while there-would highly recommend and can’t wait to return

Relaxing stay in Rye

Highly recommend, we had an amazing time. Property is lovely, nice & clean. Pool was fantastic. Great backyard fully fenced, so perfect to bring the dog along. Excellent communication with the property owner. Location was also great, close to beach & shops.

An Amazing Experience

We hadn't been away as a family for a while, and this was the perfect property and also a beautiful last trip with our elderly dog. The host Tamara is super friendly and communicative, checked in a few times with local recommendations. Clean, comfortable and cosy. The heated pool was also a LOT of fun. Highly recommended.

Perfect beach holiday stay

A group of friends and myself stayed at Saltwater Poolside for a low-key schoolies trip and we couldn’t have chosen a better home to stay in. I say home because the house indeed felt like our home and it was a very comfortable, stress free trip that we will all remember! Tamara was always welcoming and communication was great. The care she takes to ensure her guests enjoy their stay was evident both in this and in the beautiful, warm space she provides —I’d recommend her properties to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

We loved our few days at Saltwater Poolside. The house, the facilities, the location and Tamara were all wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it really was 100% pet friendly. Looking forward to coming back.

Everything you need

Great mid week stay with family. Kids loved the pool even on rainy days. Highly recommend having the pool heating turned on. House is very well equipped with everything you need. Very easy to live in with comfortable bedding also. Would recommend.

My favourite home away from home

I would like to express my appreciation for your awesome hosting! Your service topped all expectations and everything in your property is perfect. The pool!!!!! No words can express the serenity and relaxed vibe it provides. Also level of hygiene, the set up and all the extras provided, made your holiday house, my favourite home away from home! On arriving we loved the local information provided in the catalogue, complimentary basket of snacks, extra information provided daily via text, also the late check out offered!!! Cant fault this place at all and cant think of anything extra we needed. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing getaway!!

We had an amazing 2 night away with the family in Rye. Tamara was the best host ever. The house blew our mind. Location perfect, heated pool was so good and our groodle Molly had the best time ever. Thank you Tamara for making out stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back. Everything we needed was available and the special snacks for the kids were loved.

Great nights stay

We stayed at Saltwater Poolside for the night ahead of a charity walk (Coastrek) the following morning. The stay was very comfortable and the house had everything we needed to prepare for an 11hr trek. A shame we couldn’t stay longer and use the lovely pool!

Home away from home

Our family had the most wonderful time away together at this lovely property. Just what we needed after a busy term of work and school. Tamara is an exemplary host - informative, kind and a terrific communicator. The kids spent hours in the heated pool each day, and was well worth the extra dollars to have the gas heating switched on. As a family it was fab to have such a large L-shaped sofa so we could all come together and watch movies. Our groodle Frankie was so at home from the start. We enjoyed some lovely meals and Uno card game sessions at the ample dining table. Modern, functional kitchen that made cooking and cleaning up a breeze. Comfy beds, pillows and crisp linen ensured a restful nights each day after exploring Rye’s beach and pier. All in all a brilliant stay away, and we look forward to our return down the track. Highly recommend!!

Great house, great location

The owner of the house was lovely and communicated with us during our stay. She was nice enough to let us stay and check out late which allowed us to relax and use the beautiful pool. The house overall is amazing, we were welcomed by some delicious treats. House fits enough people, there was 7 of us and the rooms were big and comfortable. It was located in a good area, with the beach so close by! Tamara is a great host, we were very thankful for everything she did! Recommend to anyone planning on visiting rye, it’s so close to the hot springs too. House had a homey feeling and we loved everything about it. Every essential for a little getaway was there.

Little slice of paradise

Saltwater Poolside is a simply stunning home and the perfect getaway for a lovely weekend away with the family. From booking to checkout, our end to end experience was 6 stars. Tamara is such a gracious and lovely host, and her excellent communication and updates meant our stay was completely stress free. We knew exactly what to expect, zero unwelcome surprises and Tamara was readily available with answers to any question - including sharing tips about local dining and activity options. The home is beautiful, bright and completely private. It’s well laid out, and has everything you could possibly need. It’s also truly dog friendly - our 6 month old border collie pup had the time of his life! It was a beautiful way to spend my birthday and just felt like a home away from home. We cannot wait to rebook and come back to enjoy this beautiful home again!

Genuine dog friendly property

This is the most dog friendly property we have had the pleasure of staying at. High fences, doggy door, dog bowls, toys and treats. The pool was fantastic and I'm so glad we opted for gas heating as it made swimming on 18 degrees days enjoyable! The house is a leisurely 15 minute walk to the supermarket and in a quiet neighbourhood. Property was very clean and tidy as well. Our dog Rosie loved it here and was so settled in on the first day. Will definitely be coming back for another stay

Secluded bliss!

A gorgeous place, very well presented. Tamara and Luis were amazing hosts! Tamara was so very helpful with absolutely everything we needed and communication was excellent. Very relaxing holiday (pool was the highlight!) and everything was taken care of. Would highly recommend.
