What a fabulous find! We had a great wintery stay at Tamara’s cottage with our 2 dogs and 2 teenagers. The house was clean and cosy, with a big tray of treats for us all. The location is great for the beach and Rye shops. The bath was spectacular and every detail was considered. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Amazing cottage and thoughtful host

Our stay was simply incredible from start to finish. The host’s thoughtfulness and kindness truly set this experience apart—every little detail was considered, making us feel totally welcomed and at home.The communication was outstanding and the house itself, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully supplied (including dog toys for our groodle!)Honestly every aspect of our stay was simply perfect. If you're looking for a beautifully curated space with warmth, character, and a host who truly cares about their guests, this is the place. Perfect family beach getaway

Beautiful and Breathtaking

Came to stay for a birthday getaway with some friends. Tamara was nothing but a great and accommodating host. Everything from the booking, to the arrival, the care pack of goodies left, the board games and amenities…everything was just spectacular! Highly recommend for an easy and relaxing stay in beautiful Rye.

Rye Cottage 2024

We were lucky enough to be able to book this property again for our second stay. It was clean and well-presented on entry. The welcome pack included milk so we could have a cuppa on arrival before getting into grocery-shopping mode, and treats for us and our puppy. We rebooked this property in 2024 because of its amenities (Accessible floor plan, walk-in showers, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine, internet, secure yard for puppy), location (walking distance to all Rye has to offer, and a short drive to access other peninsula gems) and host (contact to check in and availability for any questions). We had a wonderful relaxing holiday, thanks so much!

Home away from home

A gorgeous little cottage within walking distance to the main strip of Rye. Had every mod con available to make your stay perfect. A lovely welcoming platter of snacks and food for my family and my fur babies. Yes they were welcome! Communication with the property manager was easy and she was more than happy to help out with any request. Highly recommend

Location, location, location!

Our first impressions when driving up to Tamara’s house was “WOW!’ It was an incredible experience from the moment we walked in. The house was warmed up before we arrived, there was a very generous gift basket of goodies for us and the fur baby and a beautiful cosy home to settle in and relax. Tamara is the ultimate host. There was nothing we could’ve wished for that wasn’t already provided. Perfect location, even though it was winter! We walked along the main road and found excellent coffee and breakfast and we loved that we were so close to a shopping precinct. Our little getaway was for myself, my daughter, my 1.5 year old granddaughter and my fur baby and there was plenty of room for many more family members so we will most definitely be returning for future family getaways and bringing the rest of the gang along! Thank you Tamara for making our winter getaway such a pleasure and so easy. You’re fabulous.

Relaxing Rye family escape

We were really impressed by the lovely property itself (beautiful renovation, very clean, and nice and warm for a winter stay); the location (easy walking distance to shops and beach); inclusions (everything required for cooking, playing games, watching tv); and extras such as a fun hamper and generous supplies. We felt like the owners had thought of everything to make our stay (including the dog) welcoming and comfortable.

Absolutely delightful!

The check in process was straight forward, location was incredible - close to shops and beach, the host was attentive, provided local recommendations and was lovely to converse with, the properly was immaculate, comfortable, had lots of amenities and the decor was stunning. Also there was a lovely bunch of goodies upon our arrival! To summarize, my stay at this accommodation was nothing short of extraordinary!

Adorable, clean but modern cottage!

My daughters, sister & close friend stayed for a weekend getaway & collectively we loved it. All was as advertised, the host Tamara communicated with us every step of the way in such a manner that we felt like she was part of our group.The cottage was close to the beach, shops, restaurant & Alba Spa. Perfect for a long weekend.

Tamara is the greatest host making both us and our dogs extremely welcome. We'd been to this cottage a few times because the position is just so perfect (short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops). The renovations have just make it even more special. Can't wait till our next stay.

Cute house in a great location

Amazing host, little bowl of treats left out for us and the dog. Clean and neat little house with secure yard for dogs. This house is a real gem, so close to the beach and the shops, we had twice daily dog beach walks and we could walk to Woolies and the bakery/cafes so easily. I wanted to stay for weeks. Thank you Tamara for creating a great dog friendly house where the dogs are welcomed inside and out and not an inconvenience. Our kids didn't want to leave

Cozy beachouse

This cute house is perfectly situation just 200 metres to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. House itself fabulous with comfy beds, brilliant showers and great appliances. Our cavoodles loved the well fenced garden. There were dog bowls and even dog toys supplied. A welcome bowl of treats for us and the dogs. We will most definitely be back. Tamara easily contactable. Thank you.

perfect weekend stay

absolutely beautiful home with all the little extra touches that make it special, huge basket of beautiful treats for both us and our fur babies. if you are looking for an exceptional stay you cant go past this property and the host tamara is just lovely, great at letting you know everything you need to know and even has tips for local wineries that let you bring your dogs

Family getaway

Fabulous stay! Tamara was so helpful organising our stay, especially providing a portacot and highchair for our 16 month old, who slept perfectly during our stay! The cottage is beautiful and the location perfect. We can't wait to stay again!
