The house is 101yr old property that has been renovated. We stayed in the Heron room which had plenty of space and a private patio with couch, coffee table and high top table and chairs overlooking the pool and river. The bed was very comfortable for us and the shower is spacious with great water pressure. Microwave and Mini fridge in the room with a desk, chair, and sitting chair. The shared living room, dining room, and kitchen were nicely decorated and plenty of items available for continental breakfast and snack items. The inside and outside has a fun, colorful beachy vibe, with plenty of outdoor seating right on the river. Walking distance to the downtown area with plenty of restaurants and shops. Beach is a short distance away. Mark, the host, was very nice and responsive. You must visit the chicken coop! Kayaks available for guests at no cost. The parking is a little cramped but it worked out for us. We parked, and then either walked or ubered. Quiet spot, although you will hear the trains frequently, so something to consider if you are a light sleeper. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, the convenience of the location, and would recommend.
