Our beachfront cottage was the ideal spot for our retreat! It was very cozy, airy, with lots of sunlight and amazing views of the beach! Linsey was very responsive to our questions and made us feel welcomed from the start of our stay. We would definitely stay there again! Our only concern was with the lock for the bathroom window that would not work.

The property was amazing with the beach a couple steps away. Best stocked kitchen I have ever stayed at, clean and comfy beds. Other than the noseeums on the deck, I would rate this an extraordinary trip.

The cottage is amazing - very comfortable and very well stocked which is appreciated as we cook a lot. The views are to die for and the beach is very quiet. Saw turtles come up to nest each night. I would say it is perfection except for the noseeums - they are plentiful and hungry. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Perfect weather! 80's entire stay. Ocean breeze and blue sky! Beautiful sunrises! We love staying here and we will be back in October! Lots of turtles this trip as always! Found 14 pieces of sea glass in one afternoon! Perfect

This cottage is amazing. Beautiful inside, spacious bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, nice bathrooms, but still with that beach front quaint barrier island feel. The water was warm and beautiful. We had such an awesome time

We loved our stay here! This is an absolutely lovely beach cottage, located right on the beach. Step off the deck, and you are in the beach sand! The cottage had everything we could have wished for. Fully stocked kitchen including coffee pots and coffee and filters, spices etc. There was even sunscreen and bug spray. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets were also included. The host and hostess went out of their way to make sure we arrived safely, and had everything we needed. We could not have asked for anything more. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at Coconut Cottage — from the idyllic ocean-front setting to the many cottage and beach comforts (well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds and linens; great supply of beach towels and beach gear; starter supplies of pretty much anything you can think of and/or wish for; etc. etc. etc.) and easy-going owner interaction. Dawn, the rental owner, was awesome. She’s one of those owners who is very much focused on guest enjoyment and vacation experience. I wish all owners shared her approach (sigh). At the end of our rental, we were sad that our stay was ending. Nonetheless, we appreciated that checkout was easy, with only a few (and obvious) steps — empty fridge, lock doors, put out trash. [I mention this only because I’m noticing a growing trend among some rental owners who now require a long list of checkout requirements- presumably to lower their cleaning crew costs; what they don’t appreciate, however, is the negative effect this has on the renters’ assessment of that particular owner/rental location. This was absolutely not the case with Dawn’s checkout steps- her steps were few in number and commonsense!]. We would most definitely rent again and look forward to future blissful stays!

For our family of 5, Coconut was the perfect house to unwind and hide from the rest of the world. The beach is just awesome lonely and during the nights we could sit right next to it on the terrace. The house is specious, perfectly equipped and offered all we needed coming in from an international flight. Everything exactly as described. Dawn is the perfect host and not only decorated the house very lovely, she left little welcoming things here and there. If we could, we would be back immediately. We highly recomment Dawn's house for your recreational visit!

Another wonderful stay at Coconut Cottage! Secluded beach! Watched Sea Turtles nest right from the deck! Sea glass! Water was perfect! Never disappointed with our stay. Met some really nice people on our morning walks. Some live there, some were on vacation like us. Can not wait to go back! The host and owner, Dawn and her husband are awesome! They checked in on us on arrival and during the stay. Everything was just perfect! Super Happy with our stay.

Property is amazing - private beach with lots of sea turtle action at night. Fully stocked home with lots of amenities. Dawn is quick to respond with inquiries or issues (had a sea turtle cover our stairs and deck with sand). Will definitely return - absolutely love this place.

We absolutely loved this location. We rented both houses on property. There were so many amenities available to us upon check in (way more than any rental before). So many little touches that made this house special like sunscreen, bath and kitchen necessities, tons of beach items and more. Not to mention we went during turtle laying season!!! We saw sea turtles and manatees so many times. Best beach by far. The host was always responsive and helpful.

We LOVE Coconut Cottage! This was our second time renting this lovely cottage which is located perfectly almost right on the beach. It is close to restaurants, grocery store, parks and hiking/biking trails. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and has a nice grassy fenced-in yard for our dog. Dawn, the cottage owner, is fantastic—very accessible and big on detail. You won’t be sorry if you stay here. We hope to return again soon.

The house has EVERYTHING you need. Dishwashing liquid, laundry supplies, paper towels, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and more there waiting for you, plus some awesome cookware. Just a trip for food and we were set for the week. Beautiful, private beach with amazing sunrises each morning. Weather was great. High 70s and 80s for our stay. The house was very clean and organized and Dawn was fantastic to work with. Will definitely try to get in that cute cottage again.

We have found the stay place close to everything we were in the area for. If the beach waves and that sound is what you are looking for this is the place. We’ll set up and furnished more than we have ever found in our travels.

We are regular VRBO users and this was by far the best home we have stayed in. The little things that Dawn thought of to help make our stay comfortable went above and beyond. No need to bring or buy things like tissues, paper towels, soap or detergent. Location is super close to grocery shopping and restaurants if you don't want to cook. The beach! Literally steps away and you can walk forever. Sand is soft and easy to walk on barefoot. The owners are fantastic. Our trip was interrupted by Hurricane Nicole, but Dawn was so wonderful and kept us informed every step of the way. If you are hesitating, don't! You will not be disappointed with this fabulous cottage and location.
