"We visited to watch the eclipse and found the perfect spot for that, but loved the house and its location. Had hoped we could walk into town but not the easiest road. Didn't really matter. Calico Rock is a great town to visit. Great community, lovely people and shops, cafe, bar. Beautiful countryside surrounds it with good walks not far away. "We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down."

"We planned and attended a wedding at Blanchard Springs area. My father is 92 and loves the river. He enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watch the river roll by. The view was beautiful. This property was very clean, modern, and elegant. The bedrooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this property for a larger family. All 8 of us enjoy the stay."

"We loved this property! It was our Anniversary weekend and we truly enjoyed the quiet. We saw several different birds, and was visited by the cows everyday. Country store provided us with a wonderful pizza. Blanchard springs caverns was just a little ways down the road and very convenient. Hope to stay here on future visits to the area."

"We enjoyed the space the cabin had to offer as we are used to cramped cabins. Not stepping on each other’s toes was a big plus. We were a little disappointed in not being able to use the wood stove although the heating unit did a great job of keeping the place warm. We made great use of the outdoor fire pit. No luck finding any fish in the pond even though we tried."

"The house is tucked away so cozy in the trees and is perfectly clean. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the essentials. Our hosts were so sweet. We were there for my husband’s birthday and they left a cake and candles in the refrigerator for him. Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall, this is a nice property in a remote location but near to all kinds of outdoor activities, river fun, hiking and Blanchard Springs Cavern. The property was well maintained and clean. There is a ladder leading to an upstairs bedroom so if you have little kids be prepared. The cabin is in a remote location off of a dirt road but fairly easy to find. This is a small quaint cabin in the middle of woods with all kinds of wildlife."
