Pros: beautiful bar/restaurant/common areas, amazing location near awesome night life, staff was very friendly and accommodating, included breakfast is delicious and very filling
Cons: we booked a queen room and it was TINY, there was nowhere to put our bags so we had to climb over them every time we wanted to go to the bathroom or leave. The shower was in the bedroom with glass doors so with nowhere else to go we had to watch each other shower or leave the room entirely. The cleaning staff kept leaving us the wrong size towels (small, like large bath mats) so every day we had to ask them to bring us regular bath towels, and there was also nowhere to hang the towels so we had to just keep leaving them in piles on the floor. There was also construction happening right next door and drilling started promptly at 8am every morning. Finally, the check out staff tried to charge us for snacks we bought outside the hotel because they saw our wrappers in the garbage, even though they weren’t even the brands the hotel offered, which felt a little cheap and sleazy after otherwise excellent service from the staff.
Overall, if we were going to stay here again, we’d confirm before booking whether construction was taking place nearby, we’d book the most expensive rooms because anything cheaper isn’t comfortable, and we’d take pictures of everything upon arrival and upon leaving to avoid trying to prove we didn’t take any snacks or drinks.
