"It was not made clear to me that breakfast was not available. the stud walls around Room 3 allowed lots of noise from the toilet and showers pumps, the shower had no grab rails with that slippery floor. the toilet paper made for a contortionist and the double bed in the alcove between the front wall and chimney breast would be difficult for a couple in the night. although spotless I was not impressed and will not return."

"It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details.
