Wow — Just Wow. The Perfect Lake House for Families! This place blew us away from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a vacation home that truly works for two families with kids, look no further.Here’s what made it special: Little ones will be thrilled — the house is packed with toys to keep them busy. Teenagers get their own space with a separate bedroom, so everyone has room to breathe. The loft is incredibly versatile and works perfectly for any sleeping or hangout scenario you can think of.The waterfront location is a dream for anyone who loves fishing, and the outdoor setup is everything — fire pit, hot tub, and a great grilling area make evenings outside unforgettable. The bathrooms deserve a special mention too. They’re modern, fresh, and beautifully finished — nothing like the dated setups you find in typical cabin rentals.Practical things matter on vacation, and this house delivers there too: plenty of parking for multiple families, and when we had a brief power outage, the emergency line was responsive and walked us through everything we needed to know. That kind of support goes a long way.Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We had a great family vacation in this cabin. The pool / ping pong table kept our teenage kids entertained and the private dock was by far our favorite feature.A few things about the property were disappointing. The upstairs living area is very crowded with furniture. A smaller dining table would open things up some, but we did have everything we needed. The rugs really need replaced, they are old and tripped us up often. The walkway to the dock is loose river rock...not a good choice for a steep path. Also, everything outside needs a good power-washing, especially the hot tub area. The new grass isn't established yet and the lower driveway is muddy as a result.Excellent location on the lake for boating. With a little attention, this could easily be 5 stars, but not sure I'd come back for the amount we paid.

Nearly perfect

On the whole, this is a great rental property. The management company is very responsive & professional. Cleanest hot tub, ever. Not entirely sure it really sleeps 10 people unless four of them are kids (it only parks 3 cars, after all), but this wasn't an issue for us. One of only a couple critiques I'd have is this property is listed as having a pool table, ping pong & foosball. Because of how the basement is laid out, none of them are actually usable (except maybe by kids). There is way too much big furniture down there, so everything is too close to the walls to be used. I'd remove the pool/ping pong & set up the foosball so you can really use it & leave it at that. The kitchen is great. Surprisingly well appointed as far as pots & pans. This is now the latest in several rentals we have been in where the bowls & plates are not microwave safe & can only go on the top rack of a dishwasher (which they're always too big for anyway). I realize breakage is an issue & these plastics help with it, but it is super inconvenient to not be able to microwave left overs & wash everything by hand. Not the end of the world, but an odd trend we are noticing in rental properties. On the whole, despite a week of rain & snow (in APRIL), we had a great time.

Great Cabin by the lake

The cabin was perfect for our family including our two toddlers and two teenage kids. Plenty of games in the inside. The direct access to the lake was great. Very close to WISP mountain resort and all restaurants and grocery shopping in the area. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms fitted us perfectly as a family of 6. The only thing I could complain about but it didn’t matter to us because we have a huttub at home…the hot tub was located under a roof of a detached garage. The temperatures were bellow 35 during our 5 days stay and it has been raining two out of the 5 days. We haven’t used the hot tub because it wasn’t easily or conveniently accessible. The ground level concrete pad or the deck on the second house story would be a more appropriate location for the hot tub. Other than that, great vacation home!

Magnificent Weekend Stay

This property would be absolutely breathtaking in any month of the year. We got to experience it in February and took advantage of being a mile from the slopes! The lake was frozen and we enjoyed watching a few neighbors walk on the ice from our warm hot tub. The house had a few toys stored up in the loft and my 4 year old thought he had hit the lottery! The house was clean and appointed perfectly. It felt like home and we'd love to return.

Property was nice dealing with rental agency useless

Property is nice, clean. The sliding door to the bedroom downstairs is really hard to close. On the deck upstairs there is now a table, just a little to big for the space. So the pictures are not accurate. I called the company upon arrival. The house had a horrible smell. It smelled like wash that was left in the washer. That awful musty gaggy smell.. Also, the firepit outside was half missing. It had been burned or rusted through. They said they would call me the next day to check back on everything. No call. I went to the store bought 4 candles and it took about 2 days but got rid of it. The fire pot was not replaced. One more thing the bathrooms were updated but no shelf or shower caddy so there is no where to put your stuff except on the floor. Thats always frustrating to me.

Peaceful, wonderful view, well equipped home

House is as shown in pics. Very nice, very functional and well equipped. Check in and put fantastic. We were a family of 4 but this house fits 8 people very comfortably. We loved it as a 3 nights escape away. Weather was cold for lake activities. Most activity places were closed. So...this house is the best place to stay in. We Played pool table, ping pong and foosball. Watched many movies on amazing big TVs made s’mores on outside fire pit and used the hot tub. All 5 stars. Although they required we bring towels and linens i was pleaseantly surprised all beds were made and towels provided. Kitchen is ok, a bit small of you had 2 families but very well equipped! 1 Recommnedation: Just please add a pizza pan for oven, would be great to have one. My only critique is that after we booked with vrbo, all booking details are managed by Railey , they were good in sending communications to me. Contracts, waivers, instructions. However they didn’t respond to my inquiries 1) a few days prior to trip to check bed sizes to bring proper linens (never heard back) but didn’t meed them later. 2) water in hot tub was cold when we arrived...found service paper asking to wait 8 hours to re heat so had to wait to next day. Day 2 was barely warm...i emailed them and never got answer back. We used on day 3 when water was warmer and enjoyed it. To the lovely view. But given I filtered property search by hot tub, i would have liked to enjoy all 3 days of my stay. That’s all. I would recommend the place and would come back. I suggest Railey to have a way for guests to easily communicate and receive amswers back.
