Beautiful house looking across the valley toward the peak, facing West. Mornings included cups of coffee watching the sun slowly cover the ridge across the valley while the kids played in the main living room. House included a nice welcome basket with paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwasher tablets. Lots of notes that they do not provide bath towels (but they did have hand towels in the bathroom).
The driveway is a small gravel driveway, but had enough room for our two cars. The lights outside must be on a timer as the lights were on all night, but turned off during the day. The one bedroom that has windows facing the driveway area needed darker shades, as with the lights on, it was still quite light in that room and we had to put up our portable black out curtains for our kids. The other rooms were good. Beds were nice (on the firmer side / tempur-pedic like feeling to them).
We really enjoyed the main living area with a huge dining room table, nice kitchen, living area, with the lovely views out the windows. One afternoon, the sun did come beating in through the windows (which have no shades/curtains) and it was pretty blinding. So the afternoon sun was quite bright.
We did not have any issues with the unit itself (cleanliness, etc.) and thus did not have to try to communicate with management or maintenance people, so cannot comment on that.
Check-in process should be made easier. We checked in on Friday and out on Sunday, which involved driving to the check-in site (different from the house) to pick up keys. Nobody was there, so we got the keys from the lockbox and same story when checking out. Why not just have a lockbox at the house itself and codes emailed out? Not a huge deal, but it would make this a nicer/easier process to check-in for a renter.
Otherwise, we enjoyed the space and would recommend it!
