Excellent home for vacation

The property is exactly as shown in the photos!! Big enough for our large group of families with spaces with lots of different space to hang out and play games or just relax in front of tvs in most rooms. And it didn’t end with indoor space. The outdoor also offered lots of treats and a garage full of games and activities. Hottub is a definite plus!! Everything was clean and well placed. Would love to visit again whenever we head to the water park!!

Very clean and accurate descriptions. Great communication with rental company before and during stay. The only thing for improvement I could add with little kids is the tub drains didn’t seem to work for baths in the upstairs bathrooms and I would have felt safer with dead locks on garage doors into house and back door from sun room.

Great ski trip!!

The place was the PERFECT place to meet up with our JMU and UVA children, spend time together in a cozy and comfortable house, access Massanutten with ease, and enjoy each other! The beds were fantastic, the neighborhood lovely, and the common spaces beautiful and comfy. We LOVED it!

Fun house

Perfect. Brought my family together for some skiing/snowboarding and to watch the superbowl together. The ski lodge is just a few minutes away by car. The house is spacious and there are tons of games and activities to play. We had an amazing time

a little slice of heaven at Massanutten!

The Mosaic House is a perfect getaway for any group of family or friends looking for a comfy and cozy spot to rest during a Massanutten / Shenandoah Valley getaway. The house is set-up perfectly for two families to share comfortably, it's dog friendly, the neighborhood is a quiet little oasis just off the main road to the resort. The views of the mountains from the hot tub is unbeatable too!

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the Mosaic House and look forward to staying here again in the future. The layout of the house is great and there is plenty to do there if you don’t feel like going anywhere for the day. The hot tub and fire table were very relaxing and the game room was beyond our expectations. We wish we could have played ping pong, but there is no heat in the garage and the temperatures were too cold during our stay. Maybe next time! We also loved that our dog was able to come with us. That made it a true family vacation!

Wonderful house and great location

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a great time. Comfortable beds and nice to have linens, towels and paper products provided. Lots of room for everyone and a very nice kitchen. Enjoyed playing the Pacman arcade game and we hung out by the fire table one night. Great location for quick access out to the highway for trips to JMU. We hope to stay there again soon.

Perfect family getaway

It was truly the perfect house for our small family get together of 6 adults,1 kiddo, and 1 dog. The house has been recently updated, with no noticeable wear and tear on the furniture or ping pong table or any of the other countless amenities. Well stocked kitchen, great outdoor grill and propane fire table, and the outdoor chairs and table are polywood and in perfect shape. The house is in a wonderful little neighborhood, nice and quiet and close to everything, perfect for long morning dog walks. We were treated to deer casually strolling through the yard at all times of day. Really, the house is just phenomenal, and the VPMS team sent us clear communication leading up to, and throughout our stay to make things super simple and streamlined and effortless. I can't say enough good things about this entire experience.

July 4th Family Gathering - 3 Generations

We had an amazing stay for a 4 day mini vacation over the July 4th Holiday. The house was well taken care of, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! Great setup for family gathering and the location was ideal to get to everything we had planned for our trip! The corn hole boards, ping pong, arcade area, games, etc…. made for lots of fun during our stay. Sadly it was too hot to partake in the hot tub! Everything was in great working order and made for a smooth vacation! Thanks again for opening your home to families in need of a getaway! For those that would like a great restaurant to visit, we highly recommend “Hanks Bar & Grille”. Delicious food, great staff and about 10 minutes from the house.

Great location and activities

Stayed at the Mosaic House for 3 nights. 4 families; 8 adults + 4 kids (13,10, 8 & 5 yrs). It was PERFECT and everyone had so much fun at the house and the area. Rain or sunny, you have something fun to do. Kids enjoyed their play room downstairs and in the garage where you can find something fun to play, also adults enjoyed outside sitting by fire pit, hot tub and playing in the garage as well. The area has so many activities for any ages!! The house was clean and you have EVERYTHING you need, in the kitchen and the bathrooms. This Mosaic House is one of most prepared for any activities, and for any ages so far I've rented. Just a little friendly reminder, you see the bugs, bc you are staying in the woods, and that's the nature. You just need to prepare the bugs spray or/and fog spray. That's all! Communication with the VPMS team was great! Quick response, very helpful and friendly. It was VERY sweet of them that there was a welcome card, especially it was handwriting with my name on it. It made me smile!! Thank you!! Would love to go back again someday!

A wonderful place to stay!

The mosaic house is the perfect mountain get away for the whole family, even the dog! It is spacious providing spaces for both kids and adults to relax and have fun. From the home theater system and arcade in the basement to the garage bar and the hot tub there is something for everyone! There are multiple tv’s to relax to or many areas to socialize in with plenty of room for a whole family or several friends to stay comfortably. The house is clean and well maintained and decorated with beautiful unique art. There are lots of places to hike, ski, golf and explore locally but the mosaic house is such a wonderful place to stay you won’t want to leave!

Great location for all 4 seasonal activities!

Mosaic House was a perfect choice for our spring break family get together. We were lucky to have beautiful weather but if you have a rainy day, no problem, there is SO MUCH STUFF to keep every age group entertained! We will definitely be coming back !
