This home was more than expected. It’s so spacious and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen cabinets were all labeled so the was no guess work looking for anything needed. We had two pickup trucks and two motorcycle trailers and there was plenty of room for parking in the driveway. If ever in the area again this will be the first place I will look to rent. Communicating with the owners was very easy and quick to respond. Thank you Melissa and Danny.

A friend's weekend away and The Boone House was perfect. Easy entry, great communication, beautiful property, and just the spot to relax and unwind. The location is convenient to restaurants and local attractions. The garage makes it easy to load and unload, especially when the weather is less than perfect. Overall, we loved our stay, would love to come back and recommend The Boone House 10/10.

My Family and I stayed at Melissa and Danny’s VRBO in Massanutten last week for our spring break. The house was beautiful, very well organized, and very clean. The best part is that we were allowed to bring our fur babies which makes it so much easier to travel as a family. we chose their property based on all of the reviews and we were not disappointed! Long overdue family time was needed and we were able to do just that! Lots of games of Sorry and Scrabble were played! We spent a day at Luray Caverns and took the boys to a potato chip factory. We also spent time at the waterpark and did mini golf and a few hikes while we were there. The hot tub was a nice addition! Overall, I would give this a 10 star rating! Thanks, Melissa and Danny for having us and for sharing your beautiful home with us!Shanon

My kids on spring break and we wanted just a little couple day getaway. It was perfect. our older daughter and her husband came along and we had plenty of space plenty of privacy would definitely come back

This house was perfect for our family. Great location, clean and had all the amenities of home. Plenty of room for a large family, even for our sweet puppy. I would highly recommend booking this gem and we are looking forward in coming back!

We had a long weekend with another family, 4 adults and 6 kids ages 9-16. Everyone had a great time with lots to do and the house was so comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We all thought it was more spacious than the pictures made it seem. We liked the open layout of the livingroom and kitchen. We would love to stay there again.

We stayed at The Boone House with 2 families (2 couples 4 college-age kids). Massanutten was convenient from both NC & MD and the drive was easy. The house had plenty of room for sleeping and a large hang-out area both upstairs & downstairs. It was great to have access to a garage, which we've never had in a rental. It was handy for loading, unloading and storing wet boots. We took advantage of the hot tub and skied for 2 days. The house was close to the ski lodge and other on-site restaurants etc. The Boone House was well stocked (all linens and good kitchen items). The easy check-in/out directions, rules and local suggestions were helpful. I loved that Melissa/Dan had their kitchen & light switches well labeled – there’s nothing more frustrating than not knowing how to turn lights on or having a totally disorganized kitchen. Our communication with Melissa was amazing and responsive. We could tell they take very good care of their house and want to ensure their guests are happy. Our families agreed this was our favorite rental house (out of 5 we’ve rented together) and would love to return! Thank you for a great stay!!

Melissa and Danny’s beautiful home in Massanutten is fantastic all the way around. Clean, EXTREMELY spacious (there were 9 of us), and stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is so much to do around the home, you barely need to leave! But if you feel the need, obviously the resort grounds has so many activities to choose from. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the large well equipped kitchen, as well as the main living room space and fireplace. Everything about this home screams vacation and tranquility. I am a stickler for reading reviews and being very picky about my accommodations… from one type A traveler to another… just book it and stop worrying! :)

We highly recommend The Boone House as a vacation rental. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and is within minutes of the Massanutten Resort venues. The hosts were excellent to work with and they provided helpful information about the area as well as easy to follow check-in and checkout details. The house was well appointed (nice appliances, utensils, spices, coffee, tea, games and more) has comfortable beds with nice linens, and thoughtful touches that enhanced our stay. We will be repeat customers if we return to Massanutten.

All was great at the Boone house. It’s a lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood. One minor thing was that the karaoke microphones have a bad connection. We left a microphone stand there so that the mic chords can stay connected. Also the TV downstairs doesn’t have a remote for volume so couldn’t do karaoke downstairs or watch TV as the volume is very low..

I want to say that The Boone House is the best place i've stayed yet. Home away from home. If your looking for a getaway that accomodates, this is the spot. The house was really nice and the location was perfect. It was so close to Shenandoah National Park which gave us so much time to hike and take our time at the park. We also really liked the hot tub after a long day. All the amenities were working as usual and everything was very comfortable and cozy.

My adult sons and I needed a break from work & a place to relax and enjoy nature. After reviewing multiple listings, I settled on this one and I'm glad I did! The owners have gone to great lengths to make this a plug-and-play vacation rental. The check-in process went smoothly and upon entry we were greeted with a clean house complete with large bedrooms with comfortable beds/pillows, a large great room with gas fireplace with clear operating instructions (very nice while watching TV on a cool night!), a large kitchen, nice quality towels, all the basics in the kitchen including coffee filters and pod filters for the Keurig Duo, cooking spices, phone chargers, and more. The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and even had liquid body wash and shampoo provided in the showers. There was plenty of TP, dishwasher pods, and paper towels. The grill is charcoal but there was left-over charcoal in the closet just inside left from previous guests. The back deck also has a fairly new and clean hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed several nights while catching up and gazing at the stars. The front porch has plenty of seats and we also spent time there at the end of the day watching the sunset. Downstairs there is a wonderful game room with multiple board games, a pool table, and karaoke which we utilized and created some fun memories. The owners have thought of everything to make your vacation time easy and relaxing-just bring your clothes and food! We definitely will be back!
