House is five star. Only reason I give it an overall four star was the communication with the property managementHouse: one of the best stocked houses I have ever stayed at on VRBO. Had bathroom essentials- shampoo conditioner body wash, kitchen supplies, extra blankets, was an absolutely fabulous house. We made our meals here and really had everything needed in the kitchen. Lot of space, very clean.We did hiking at Shenandoah: from the popular hike Dark Hollow Falls about a 45 minute drive back to the house . Golf nearby was excellent.About a 15 minute drive to in town for a grocery store, great visitor center, ice cream which was easy drive. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We were on a family trip so perfect for us.The only downside was the communication with property management. My experience when I asked two questions after 6pm- my request was acknowledged, but not answered until late the next morning.Unfortunately, one of these communications was how to get the hot tub out of sleep mode and functioning again. I received a reply acknowledging my request immediately and someone would look into it and get back to me. Unfortunately, the follow up text the next morning was just inquiring if we had figured out how to get the hot tub working again, so not helpful.So it was unfortunate, as the house is really amazing, and great location when visiting Shenandoah national park.
