My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and was stocked with everything needed if you forgot something. The communication with the owner was great and answered any questions we had. The hot tub was definitely a bonus! The view from the top bedroom was amazing! If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in a great location

The property was exactly as described for our five night stay last week. Everything was clean, and plenty of room to spread out for two families. The owners were very responsive and helped us out with one minor issue (quickly addressing & replacing some empty LP tanks). We couldn’t ask for a better stay, and we would absolutely love to go back again. Highly recommended!

Perfect Family Getaway in a Prime Location!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Massanutten and Chris was a great host. The house was the perfect size for our family..the bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable. The deck is really nice with plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the open floor plan… we Highly recommend this house.

Great place for family to gather

We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Jolene. This home is furnished with so many amenities. The host has thought of everything. Wonderful neighborhood and so much to do nearby. We would most definitely stay here again.

The perfect VRBO

This house has everything you need in a mountain vacation rental. #1 being that all the beds and pillows are comfy!! The house has all the little homey extras like coffee pods for the keurig, wood for the fireplace, random kitchen essentials, good pots and pans, and useful items and toys for the kids. The sauna and hot tub and wood burning fireplace were the perfect complement to our snowy weekend! The virtual guide for the home answers all the questions you could have and also walks you through all the details and little tips to using the hot tub, sauna, and general use of the home. The host was very kind and responsive, and the type of person that you feel comfortable and happy to rent from! The location is great and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful with winding roads and spread out houses among the hills and trees. 100% would return to this house! Thanks again to Chris, our great host.

Great house and stay overall!

It was great overall. Sometimes the water didn’t get very hot in some showers and the room with the bunk beds are not really for adults (the weight capacity is low) so we had to figure it out. I would budget for less people than the capacity written but other than that, it was a great space.

Skyline Drive Wedding

I cannot say enough about this property and the owner. It is warm, well equipped, very elegant, but also very cozy. We were here for our wedding and really made it the base of all operations....everyone loved coming around and hanging in the living room, kitchen and of course the deck. A very small event (less than 12 people) we were able to host our own reception dinner and continue the evening outside around the fire pit. Smooth and easy communication with the owner and someplace we will happily endorse for others.

Chateau Jolene for the win!

Chris was an excellent host and responsive to all questions I had prior to our arrival. He made sure we were settling in just fine. The house guidebook was quite helpful! We absolutely loved our stay at Chateau Jolene. It was the perfect home base for our elopement at SNP. Space was ample for our family and us. We ended up with only 9 of us. Everyone said beds were very comfortable and the basement was very sound proof. The hot tub was fantastic after a long drive in the car. Kitchen was well stocked, we used the wine cooler for wine and our bottled water! Luckily we were able to enjoy the outdoor space until tropical storm Ophelia arrived late Friday night. Thank you so much for the memories Chateau Jolene!
