Shades of Green

House was beautiful and met all of our needs. There were 8 of us and a baby. Kitchen was a bit small but had everything we needed. My parents and 2 brothers stayed in the bunkhouse, that was not big enough for them, luckily they had an air mattress. The only negative thing I can say was the kitchen in the bunkhouse- the only cooking tool was a hotplate. I must have missed that in my research but be prepared if you use that side. Otherwise location was great, home was beautiful and our trip was amazing!

We loved the house and it was very comfortable! The kitchen could have been stocked better. For example, there was no veggie peeler and the biggest pot did not hold enough soup for our group of 8. The grill is very old and doesn’t work well either. Over all great house but needs a little attention.

Mountain serenity

My family enjoyed this beautiful cabin for a quick getaway weekend. The property was just as described. The backyard and decks were so peaceful. We spent many hours sitting outside just listening to the river. The proximity to McCaysville made it easy to grab a bite to eat or browse thru the shops. The only downside...our trip coming to an end.

Tranquil river retreat

Lovely property with lots of space. I reserved it for family coming from out of town and it was absolutely what we needed. Great space with the bunk house as a bonus for when you have to separate bold personalities or small families from older families. Amazing, relaxing home by the water with incredible porches for coffee sipping in the cool and quiet of the morning or a nice glass of wine or bourbon by the water to watch the world go to sleep.

Stevens family vacation 2024

This was a great vacation home. Everything was exactly as you expected. Plenty of room for everyone. We kayaked and fished. Swam in the river and sat on the decks. The house is located close to town, which is wonderful for short trips to the grocery store or eating out. We saw deer every day. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful yet exciting vacation rental.

2024 BOYZ TRIP

The guys and I had an amazing time. Drinking, eating, fishing, eating, fire pit, drinking, and then some drinking. The cabin was fantastic, loved the river and the local area. 12 out of 10, totally recommend!!!!!!!

Great place on the creek!

We loved this property. It needs a few very minor fixes, such as a few light bulbs replaced in the kitchen and one of the dining chairs was broken, but I let the property manager know within a day of arrival and they thanked me for the information to pass on to the owners. We loved the area and the cabin and the weather was perfect for our family get away! My brother caught a few different fish down on the dock and we loved the campfire space. The only additional thing to mention is the owners may want to consider a third outdoor trash bin if 6 or more adults are staying a week or longer as we filled the two up and there was no trash pick up during our stay. Would definitely stay again!

Fishing trip

The house was excellent. Everything was clean throughout the house. They had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. They do not supply the firewood. No problem. Go to Pat's Kitchen she sell and delivers firewood. We had a relaxing a great time.

This property is absolutely beautiful. We rented the main cabin and the bunkhouse. Both were super clean and very well outfitted. The property managers were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. I highly recommend this place.

Home away from home.

Everything you needed was available for you throughout the home. The creek provided a touch of peace and tranquility. The cabin was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree for the holiday. Safety is our #1 priority, as there were several cameras on the property. Overall, I give a perfect score of 10 out of 10.
