it was an amazing place and was exactly what we wanted for the weekend. The hot tub was amazing and had a couple clear nights to enjoy the sounds of nature and gaze at the stars. The days were hot but the cabin was nice and cool when we arrived. We definitely would love to stay there again someday

I will always come back to these cabins— usually stay in Hidden but have stayed in Prairie before

I LOVE this cabin!! I is tucked away nicely and feels private and cozy. I can sit on the porch in the morning and look into the trees and listen to the birds. The bed is a nice size and there are nice twin beds and a sofa. Kitchen is nice and open and stocked with the dishes and pots and pans I needed. Shower is small, yet nice and the water was nice and hot. The hot tub was down, but I have been in it before and it was in a perfect placement looking out over the trees. Listen, this is a cabin in the woods— it gives a nice lightly rustic glamping feel without being too hotel- like. You may see bugs and bees, you may see snakes and deer— the owner communicated with me nicely upon check in and Connie the property manager was so great during our stay and helpful with anything we needed. Cabin was clean and ready for us. The price was great and check in and check out was easy and seamless. This is my all time favorite cabin and I suggest you try it out and really enjoy the authentic cabin camping experience right in the midst of so many local attractions with the caves and waterfalls and hiking, also around the corner from an amazing vineyard, a local mercantile shop called Stella’s, and not too far from other local shops and restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!

Not at all what we expected

Hot tub broke when we got there no ac running so cabin wa 90 degrees and took the whole day to cool down it was miserable bugs everywhere mold and so much mouse poop it was unreal I felt very disgusting there ended up sleeping on the couch as the bed was so uncomfortable Ive been renting ccabins in hocking for 20 years now and have never encountered this kind of stay it pretty much ruined my anniversary stay

Disappointed

The cabin was not clean. There was dog hair on the furniture.Dog hair on the floor. Bathrooms were in need of repair.The sofa bed is worn out. Needs new mattress. The deck had boards that were loose and raised up in places. The cabin was in bad need of repair. I’ve visited Hocking Hills many times. This cabin was the worst by far. Would not recommend at all.

Cute little cabn

It was great. A lot of dead stink bugs in the windows, but it is a cabin. It was super cute, and the location was great. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Would definitely stay again. The only thing I would change is having bedding there. I felt like it was so much extra work to bring bedding and wash it when we got home.

There was a large number of stink bugs that came into the house along with the wasps that came in through the same hole. The water was alright after you ran the cold water for a second but other than that, the local caves and winery were beautiful. The property manager was quick to respond to the issues that were brought to her attention which was appreciated

Well first let me say that this placed servred its purpose for us , and the things that were wrong with the craftsmanship didnt bother me as it may other people, the porch floor is not level and the roof rafters arent even attached in some spots anymore , also it leaks , some of the flooring inside is separating, and the bathroom floor is cold cold obviously during the winter , hot tub works great , like i sad these things didnt bother me much as they might someone else also i have pics if there was a place for them
