The cabin was clean, the hot tub was excellent, and our dogs had a great stay! I would recommend purchasing more staple kitchen items. Particularly salt/pepper, sheet pans, measuring cups, wooden spoons, etc. Having a more complete kitchen would relieve stress on prepping meals.

Everything was clean and in good working order. The owned communicated great as far as getting to the property and getting into the cabin. Its pretty secluded and we heard nothing but the hot tub and nature. Would highly recommend for a couple or maybe dmall family.

Everything was exactly as it was described. We had 2 dogs and it was a perfect outdoor area. We brought 2 baby gates and put them up at the entrance opening, which enclosed the 3 sided porch so that our dogs could be outside with us. Beds are comfortable. We were not going for luxury. It was a quaint, clean and rustic little cabin tucked away just perfectly. Also loved the nearby winery. Thank you Dan.

Beautiful area

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect place to disconnect. Loved all the acres of land, the view of the woods in the back, and we had everything we needed. Not very far from Hocking Hills, 2 bathrooms is a perk, and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Country Getaway

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay. Things are what you expect from a cabin in the woods/country and as described. Overall cleanliness was good. I would suggest cleaning the air conditioner vents. We did bring our two dogs and I would say they enjoyed the visit as well. I did rig up a gate for the porch so we could let them off leash on the porch. Suggested improvement would be to add a gate to the deck. The grill came on easily but the grate has seen better days, bring some tin foil and you will be good to go. We would return for another visit and would recommend this cabin for a nice off grid getaway.

One of the best cabins I have rented in Hocking Hills

Our family goes to Hocking Hills once or twice a year, and this was one of the better cabins we have stayed at. Us and our dogs had an amazing time. The cabin was in really good condition, and the best part of the cabin is that it has two bathrooms. We really enjoyed the hot tub and having s’mores in the evening. During our stay we walked through Moonville Tunnel, and we went out the second day to get pizza and ice cream. Overall we had an amazing stay, and I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Not many bugs like the other reviews talk about maybe some but you’re in the woods what do you expect? Clean and spacious. Pretty nice overall. Hottub was nice too, would stay here again.

This cabin was so relaxing , we stay at a lot of cabins and for the price you cannot beat it. No issues with anything , bed was comfy, size of cabin perfect . It is set back away from everything . We will be coming back.

The main issue is that the property smelled really bad especially the bathroom. I did not have phone service until I left. That was deliberate. In any case, we were already there so we made the best of it

Perfect weekend getaway

Stayed here for our trip to Hocking Hills. Close to everything you want to see! We went to Cantwell Cliffs, Old Man’s Cave, Ash Falls. And this was a great place to come back to! Hot tub was perfect, we had no problems so no reason to communicate with the property manager. I actually preferred bringing our own sheets/blankets/pillows. We did forget towels but made a quick trip to Walmart. Would definitely stay here again if we took another trip that way!

Couldn’t have asked for a better cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The manager explained the residence perfectly.. everything was extremely clean and tidy. The hot tub was perfect after a long day hiking. The jets worked great. The deck was so pretty and although there are technically 2 other cabins on the lot the way that the cabin is situated, you can’t even see them nor hear them. The caretaker does a great job with the grass. 10/10 recommend and will be back!
