Beautiful cabin and property

We had a wonderful two night stay at this cabin. The day of check in i couldn't find my code to get it, the owner responded very quickly and the property manager was close by for help as well. Both Daniel and Connie were amazing in helping get checked in. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We will definitely keep these cabins in mind for future stays!

The bed was like sleeping on plywood

Everything was ok, I mean for the price I’d rather stay in a hotel. The couch was old and if two people sat on it you fall to one another and the bed was like sleeping on plywood and it was so bad I maybe got an hour of sleep. That combined with the fact that it was going to rain we just up and left the first thing in the morning and we were supposed to stay a second night so it was a huge waste of money. There was also a wasp in the cabin and ants in the bathroom I mean I get it it’s a cabin but it’s not in the middle of the woods. I really wish I would have know about the bed and the bugs before I booked.

Family Getaway

Great relatively private location and very nice cabin, a little small for our family of five, but ultimately the only major negatives were the kitchen ants and bringing towels, sheets, blankets was very cumbersome. The property managers were really helpful and kind throughout our stay!

The property and its surrounding area was very nice to stay at, especially if you plan on hiking at Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, etc. The owner is very helpful, and will make sure you are taken care of! I would stay again!

Cozy Hideaway

Property was as described in listing. Posted information in cabin very helpful. Communication with property management and owner was very timely and smooth. Minor inconveniences were that the heat went out in a snow storm so we froze our last morning. We brought our own bedding and towels which I didn’t notice in the original listing until after I booked it. It was a good trip regardless and we had fun!

Wonderful, cozy, and perfect for two

The cabin was surprisingly clean and cozy, and perfect for the 2 of us and our pets. The property was vast and beautiful, with lots of room to walk the dogs. Only thing I would recommend is to bring your own pillows. Great stay all the way around.

Perfect weekend getaway cabin

Stayed for weekend to hike and unwind. Grilled, had a fire and enjoyed the hottub with plenty of room for our 2 corgis. Awesome trip!

Great place to relax

The property was amazing! The cabin was comfy and clean when we went in. Check in was extremely easy and the location was perfect for getting to the surrounding hiking trails. To top all that off the hot tub was the perfect thing to use to relax at the end of the night!

Great weekend away

Property is exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed. The area is secluded and peaceful. We had a great time hiking in hocking and enjoying the hot tub after the sun went down. There was plenty of room for our hounds to run. Will book again!

I would rate this trip a 6/10

Dan was very informative, and flexible. He allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier since we were making a trip with children. Everything was stated as is as In description. There was an ant problem as stated. There was a wasp infestation that wasn’t stated- but they lingered on the deck and front of the cabin. The hot tub and grill worked. We brought our 4 wheeler as the property stated it was on 5 acres. There was nowhere stated in the rules we couldn’t use it. The property manager said we couldn’t ride it. I reached out to the owner and he said that he would make an accommodation. It was thoughtful. We did have some issues with the bathroom, when you used the shower it created an ungodly smell. It smelt like rotten eggs and it was BAD. My kids couldn’t even be in the cabin because of the smell. The property manager came by and acted as if she knew what the issue was.The smell went away but came back again when we used the shower later that day. It was awful. We also rented the prairie view, and please keep in mind that the property manager lives about 50 yards away from the property. We felt as if we were being watched. She parked her vehicle at the end of the gravel driveway- and just stayed there for about 45 minutes. We tried to enjoy the hot tub, but felt watched as this property manager constantly outside and walking around. I can respect a close property manager- but this felt too close. Would not book that cabin again, but if he had other properties we might consider.

Wonderful weekend getaway

Served its purpose for our little weekend getaway. The kid's and puppies enjoyed the huge yard where they could run and play. The kids mentioned that the smaller beds were comfortable. The larger mattress was a bit harder than I am personally comfortable with (cant make me appreciate my own bed). Think I missed somewhere that the kitchen did not have any type of oven but we learned how to make "campfire cinnamon rolls" as a pleasant alternative.

A lovely getaway close to the important stuff!

This is our second time staying here, but this cabin is perfect for a couple or a small family staying together. Great setup, amenities aplenty (WiFi and a smart tv!) plus a rockin hot tub where you can watch the stars.
