"Hemos estado muy agusto, el apartamento esta muy bien, aunque para 5 personas un poquito pequeño, sobre todo el sofa. Pero en general esta muy bien cuidado. Por poner un pero es el olor a madera vieja y humeda que hay. Esta en un pueblo muy tranquilo y pintoresco pero quizas un poco alejado si piensas hacer excursiones por cantabria. "Nice quiet home. The neighborhood was very picturesque. The small town doesn’t have much, but a nearby town has a small grocery store and pharmacy. (10 minutes away by car)"

"The house is situated in a beautiful spot with lovely views. The shared pool was nice as we had some good weather and the children enjoyed a splash. The equipment in the house is rather dated and the house was quite dark. Also we are a family of 5 and the house states it sleeps 5 people but it isn’t equipped for 5 people. "What a fabulous find this apartment was! Stunning scenery from the terrace, Well equipped kitchen, we had a one bedroom apartment with terrace. A lovely warm welcome from Eva who is so lovely and was on hand with good knowledge of the area and very friendly! We will definitely be back soon! Lovely welcome with fresh bread, freshly laid eggs , water, tea and coffee! A real home from home and fantastic laundry room !"

"Very basic equipped accommodation in beautiful location as long as you have transportation. We supplemented the kitchen equipment with our own from my camper van as there wasn’t enough in the accommodation"

"Ineffable views, supermodel apartment on top of the mountain. Surrounded by nature , quiescent garden and a courtyard. Eva is an angel: she met us with great hospitality , directed to the hiking trails and waited patiently when we were late . Fresh water, bread and eggs were heartwarming upon arrival. Unforgettable . "Our family loved our stay at La Cass de las Chimeneas and at Tudes in general. These pictures here do not do it justice. Absolutely beautiful, the pool was perfect for the kids to relax and play after a day of hiking, the owners had left information about local walks to do in the beautiful area, and the restaurant across the street was delicious. The store is about a 12 min drive. The views of the mountains are stunning. My favorite place we stayed in Spain!"

"We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday). Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem. Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...

"Lovely hotel. Our room had a little balcony with a great view over the water. Nice foyer sitting area with a pellet burning stove. There is an attached traditional bar and restaurant serving good cold dishes, but no hot meals. Excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses and their own label wine. Very good value."

"Great location with views to the mountains and reservoir Embalse de Cervera in valley down below. Hotel grounds wooded with marked paths, also hiking trails in the area. As with many Paradors, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms well equipped although dated. Nice decor in the reception area. Car park was reasonable size. Good choices for breakfast. "
