"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. "One word describes our wonderful barn experience..Utopia! Excellent quiet location looking out over fields of sheep. Very attentive hosts there on site if you need them. Log burner was fab during the chilly November nights making for a very cosy experience...in fact so cosy we had to crack open a window on occasion. Kitchen so well equipped it was home from home as owners had thought of everything along with luxury bathrooms. It was spotless ...very tastefully decorated too. Thank you...we will...

"Our only negative is the location of the property on a major road... difficult to get out with the traffic. Otherwise this house is a gem and the reviews do it justice - spacious, well appointed, everything you need, great for visiting surrounding areas. "The stables was in an ideal location for exploring East Sussex and Kent with lots of nearby attractions. The White Hart inn next door is a family owned village pub with lots of character, good beer and food. The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The open kitchen /longe was very well equipped with the added bonus of French windows onto a small patio area with outside seating. Very difficult to find any faults as is highly recommended we would certainly stay here again."
