Granja de vacas, muy cercana al aeropuerto
Cogimos este B&B para nuestra última noche en Escocia antes de volver a traves del aeropuerto de Prestwick ( a 20 minutos). Imprescindible llevar coche, Un lugar muy tranquilo, la casa está en una granja de vacas y la habitación en la que estuvimos era enorme y espaciosa. Eramos dos pero habia camas para 4. Tenía Té y todo lo necesario para prepararlo. La anfitriona fue encantadora con nosotros y nos preparó todo el desayuno que le pedimos. Excelente servicio y atención.

Peaceful farm
This farmhouse B&B was a lovely discovery. Quiet and in lovely countryside, it was very convenient for Dumfries House. It is not for those who want a four poster bed. It is a working farm and fine for a stay of a couple of nights.

Definitely excellent hospitality and though I realised it was a downstairs shared bathroom it was hard waiting when desperate for the toilet. If bathroom/shower had been separate from the toilet it would be overall excellent.

It’s a room with a bed for one night.
It’s a hotel with a bed. Very quiet at night so no disturbance whilst sleeping. Great host even left me an early breakfast out and “secure” parking for my motorcycle. Well undercover which is a lot more than you can say for most other hotels.

The room was lovely, as was the breakfast in the morning. Only issue there was no on-suite, had to go down stairs to toilet etc. But overall would recomend it, if you are in the area and would use again, if needed. Thank you

Welcoming and comfortable

It was lovely staying at a property that is also a working farm and the location was so picturesque even though it was only a few minutes drive from the main road. The Farmhouse was very clean and welcoming and the breakfast was great. The owner made some fantastic suggestions for sightseeing and places to eat for dinner so overall it was a great stay and I would be happy to go back.

This is a working farm. The house is spotlessly clean and the bedroom comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

A great stay
Beautifully restored house in a fully National Trust village. I didn’t have a car but there is a local taxi driver and a coastal bus service. I had a delicious breakfast on both mornings and I noticed that they are able to cater for most dietary requirements.

Loved spending time on their farm, beautiful setting. Owner was very friendly and willing to provide whatever we wanted for breakfast. Would love to spend time there again.

This accommodation is nicely situated out in the countryside, but within easy reach of practically anything else which one may realistically ever need. It is a great bolt hole for me, and I got a desperately-needed excellent nights sleep last night :-) Lynda is a lovely hostess who has got everything just right, as far as I am concerned... thanks again, Lynda ! See you again soon :-)

Lynda could not have been more pleasant, welcoming or accommodating, right down to provision of a Chinese carry-out menu and a plate for the food which I brought in :-) Just as I was settling down for the night, a friend in need called me, so I had to leave the extreme comfort of the lovely family bedroom, before I had the chance to have what promised to be a wonderful restful sleep and following vegetarian breakfast... However, I hope to be back in the next week or two, to pick up where I left off... Top marks to Lynda; thank you !

Very accommodating to our late arrival, very flexible and helpful to a separate traveler arriving earlier and with some special needs, and an unfailingly friendly and good-natured hostess. Lovely big room that comfortably sleeps four with lots of room for luggage.

A lovely place to stay.
Had a great stay here. It's very peaceful. The owner is very helpful and friendly and it's really handy for Glasgow & the central belt motorways if you're driving.
