"The hotel is very well maintained, and staff were excellent.
The breakfast was disappointing, as the only fruit available was an indifferent fruit salad.
No prunes, grapefruit, peaches fresh strawberries etc. The only hotel I have stayed in where the cold buffet lacked fruit.
The toaster (as is usual) either under toasts or almost burns the toast"

"Ideal for a couple break, in my opinion, not as much for solo business travelling. Rooms are hot but fan was provided when asked. It’s an old building bathrooms could a be bit nicer but feeling of the hotel is great. All beautifully maintained outside and excellent spot for walking. Hence 5 stars review"

"Very pleasant stay. Food offerings not as good as I had hoped, especially in the Grill. Disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday but afternoon tea was good. Staff attentive and rooms clean. Lovely setting."
