Apartamentos en Matten bei Interlaken

"The property has good potential. The location is beautiful, but it is quite remote and almost at the edge of the village, making a car essential. Unfortunately, the property itself has significant maintenance issues, and the lack of support from the host was extremely disappointing. During our six-day stay, we repeatedly contacted the host and requested assistance, asking for someone to inspect and resolve the problems, but no one was ever sent. The main issues included: * The stovetop was not...

"Beautiful location and felt very cosy"

"Nice place. Enjoyed the balcony. Nice to have a place right next to Interlaken West train station. Clean and well located"

"The location is amazing! We were so happy to get away from crowded spaces part way through our vacation. The property is located on a small ski resort and as suggested by the host, it would be best to arrive during daylight hours. The drive up the hill is narrow at times and winding but manageable. The bedroom was quite large, the beds were comfortable and the Aircon was excellent. This apartment was a...

"The worst, the bed bugs. They bit us and we had to kill many of them, full of blood. Also spiders, roaches, lettuce inside the drawers, a lot of dust and dirtiness below the bed, hairs in the towels,…a real disaster. "

"Would stay again! Very clean and spacious. Host was very communicative over WhatsApp. There is no AC but there were fans provided. Balcony was nice to enjoy the mornings. Excellent location near park and city center. Bus and train station walkable 5-10 minutes."

"We booked a 3-night stay at this property through Expedia, but it was an absolute nightmare from the moment we arrived. The house was severely infested with over a thousand flies, covering my kids' faces and hands within minutes and making them sick. When we contacted the host, they dismissively claimed bugs are "common in the mountains"—an excuse I've never heard in all my years of mountain travel. To make matters worse, the beds had unclean sheets, ancient and sagging 15-year-old mattresses,...
