Carsington Water is about 3 miles away, and offers a wide range of watersports for all the family. Cromford’s famous Arkwright Mill and Matlock Bath are a short drive away, as well as Bakewell with its well talked about puddings! Eyam, Dovedale’s stepping stones, Crich Tramway Museum, Buxton, Chatsworth House, Wirksworth and Ashbourne, with its traditional weekly markets, are all worth visiting.
