Luckily this cottage was available for us. This was a last minute trip & David was very accommodating to our requests. Communication was excellent. The cottage is cozy & beautifully decorated. Waking to the sounds of the River & watching the sunrise were some of my favorite moments. If you’re looking for a secluded retreat, this is it!

The cabin and the view are amazing. David goes above and beyond as a host in the thoughtfulness of amenities, such as night lights, tissues, etc. Sitting by the fire by the river is so therapeutic! Beautiful hiking trails nearby as well. Overall, an excellent experience and we hope to come back some day.

My wife and I were traveling back from visiting family in Pittsburgh to our home in Cape Cod. Lazy River Cottage is the mid-point. We went on VBRO to searching for a property and this one appealed to us. Wow, Wow, Wow….what a location (on the banks of the Delaware River)…it is private and tranquil. The cottage has all the modern conveniences and well appointed. We absolutely loved this property and will definitely be back.

Owner thought of everything! Besides stocking the fridge, the amenities were top notch effort and planning. We sat and played games and talked in front of the picturesque view. The fireplace and sound system was a huge hit and helped set the mood.

Went hoping to get away from it all... That was an understatement. The view was excellent, the cottage is just what the doctor ordered. Still well withing a simple drive to ANYTHING you need. The warmer months should bolster the feeling of tranquility. Great spot for sure

This cottage provided my boyfriend and I with the most relaxing little getaway. The cottage is stocked with everything you need. David is very hospitable and quick to respond when you need anything/have any concerns. I would highly recommend renting this cottage!

Description was accurate. Photos are too except they have new sofas that are blue. Place was spotless. Nice outdoors area. We used the grill and the fire pit ring one day. We drove across the bridge into NY and explored a little over there. It is fun to watch all the people floating by. I am sure in the winter months the river is very quiet. Rafting is a short walk away and looked fun. Thank you for the hospitality! stayed 2 night and drove in

This cottage was beautiful, modern and spotless! Had everything you could possibly think of. Had a view of the Delaware river from 3 sides of the structure. Perfect fishing spot. We will definitely be back.

Quaint and comfortable accommodations in a quiet environment. Lamps in bedroom and living space could be brighter for reading. Seat level in living area lower than ideal but adequate. Trying to contact owner as spouse forgot bag in bedroom. Overall would definitely return for the peace and serenity property offered.
