The Red Shed with the comfortable beds.

Great place to stay, brilliant communication, easy access to Matamata and surrounding areas. Has everything you could want for a home away from home. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great stay and location.

It was a great place to stay. The host was there ready to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed which was great and the location was amazing.

Great spot, wonderful host

The Shed was roomy and comfortable with great entertainment (pool table, games, tv, books, feeding the animals), good breakfast provided, a lovely park next door and so close to town (lots of dining options) and also handy to Hobbiton, golf, hot pools. Maria was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so helpful with our dogs - we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent place to stay

Lovely peaceful setting and very welcoming. The included breakfast was great. Perfect place for us and the dogs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent. Quiet, very well catered and clean. Good shower and comfy bed. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Maria is very welcoming. Great for dogs, with plenty of places to walk dogs. Can't fault Maria's property. I highly recommend it and will return next time we're in the Waikato.

Close to Hobbiton

Maria was fantastic and incredibly friendly. The place was comfortable and clean. Getting to feed the alpacas was a huge plus!

Cute and Comfortable

We were only traveling through for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. This charming location was a comfortable joy to stay in. Loved the added bonus of getting to feed the alpacas and we devoured the chocolate muffins. Super easy check-in and out. Very helpful and friendly host. I would gladly come back and also recommend to anyone.

Beautiful property, wonderful host, close to hobbiton

The property is on a beautiful plot of land, a huge amount of space even with 5 adults staying! Maria baked us muffins and bread and was the perfect host! I felt very welcome and would stay again!

Matamata Hideaway

A great place with a beautiful location. Close to Hobbiton, and cut little town. Very comfortable, spacious accommodation. The llamas are very friendly, and playing billiards an added bonus!

Great location and spacious place

The place was nice and spacious. We could play all the party games we wanted to without being concerned about knocking things over or getting the floor wet/ potentially staining carpets :)

The red shed was the perfect stopnover for us. The kids loved the animals and the pool table. There was plenty of space. Handy to town and the host was siper helpful and friendly. We were very well looked after

Hobbiton Bach - We chose the property because of it's location. It was an enjoyable stay.

The pool table and games helped to add fun to our stay. The host was exceptional in her communication.

Lots of space

We really loved our stay here. Plenty of room and a lovely space to rest in. A couple of things though that would make it even better... a non slip mat in the shower would be handy and tea towels as we couldnt find any. Not a biggie though because we loved it here nonetheless.
