Gran vista al mar desde la habitación Ocean, y la tina es grande con espacio para dos personas. Muchos restaurantes al rededor y acceso a la playa justo debajo, lo cual es conveniente para quien quiere disfrutar del mar y nadar, sin tener que trasladarse a otras playas más concurridas. Lo único malo es que la locación de este hotel es muy remota, y no se brindan instrucciones claras de qué exactamente hacer para llegar, lo cual genera cierta confusión al llegar, especialmente de noche ya que no hay mucho alumbrado y es una calle larga de subida y bajada. Fuera de eso es un lugar muy agradable para descansar y relajarse.

It was a wonderful experience. The only downside was that the location is down a hill, so if you arrive at night, you have to walk down some fairly steep sections. Fortunately, it worked out well for me because it was summertime and there was no rain

Very difficult to go from the hotel to the bus stop or Sorrento. Had to pay $10 each way every time we wanted to go somewhere.

We enjoyed the room! The overall condition of the room was clean and very accessible to the beach and restaurants. The only problem was finding someone to help get the golf cart up the hill as it was quite a climb to walk. Some other hotels had this included. The reception to connect for a cab wasn't great as when we left we had to walk up to the top and catch a bus to the train station. We did it but wouldn't do this again. It was hard to communicate to someone from the hotel as you don't see anyone ever only on line. We did however have a great time!

Trevligt litet hotell mitt på en mindre strand med flera restauranger. Går inte att köra bil ändra fram utan man får parkera ca 300 med ifrån. Brant kurvig väg ner men det finns möjlighet att få skjuts till och från parkering med typ en golfbil.

Very steep walk or drive from main road. Golf cart was $5 each way. The view was lovely but getting to the main road was awful. The room was perfect.

Staff was not as available via phone/physically and this place being in a semi remote old fishing village of southern italy where a corolla type size car or larger cannot get down (golf carts are kind of available for guests to use during certain hours to get 3/4 mile of the way up where the parking lot if, was not ideal when traveling with a family and a small child. Room had a beautiful view and basic amenities were available.

This was a lovely stay right in the beach. The bed was firm. There are beach loungers and umbrellas available for rent from 0800-1900h. We enjoyed the beach well into the evening. There are plenty of restaurants for a delicious Italian meal with beautiful views. The hotel not readily accessible by car, but for €5 there is a golf cart that will drive you from the parking lot to the hotel. We were met by staff in the evening to take us to our room. There is a bus that goes to the main highway near the hotel for €2 that will take you to Sorrento. The cab is about €50-60 depending on the company. Wi-Fi worked well as did the air conditioner. Would stay here again!

The most beautiful sea view room

We had a great time at sapphire rooms. The room was clean and was directly overlooking a small beach. The owners were lovely and helped us find parking. We loved our stay and would 100% return! We wish we’d been able to stay longer.

The location is perfect, just steps from the water with lots of great dining options. Although difficult to get to it is worth the trek. The rooms are comfortable but very minimalistic. TV didn’t work and some of the fixtures are falling apart, but a very enjoyable stay.

Great location in a little fishing village right on the sea! Several dining options just outside our door. Excursions to Amalfi and Positano as well as Capri. The only negative was that we were not provided with fresh towels

Beautiful space - a tiny little hotel that’s nestled away from the big city. Throw a rock and it lands in the ocean. Restaurants all over - they are all helpful, though coming down to the bay and back up requires planning - ask locals for a ride to town - they will gladly drive you for a few euros. Hotel room was nice but cozy. Very romantic. No front staff or any special bells and whistles but for an Italian honeymoon this is perfect and very memorable

Lovely stay

My sister and I stayed here for three nights and it was lovely! We wanted to be right on the beach and this was a perfect location, very quiet with a couple of good restaurants just next door. The only issue was getting up and down the hill to the main street. One night a taxi drove us to a parking lot on the hill so we only had about a 5 minute walk down to the hotel, but taking the bus from the main city leaves you all the way at the top and it can be a bit steep. We also found it difficult to get a ride up from the bottom; one morning we were lucky to run into someone on a golf cart who charged us six euro to take us up. Otherwise, this is a lovely place and just outside Sorrento, so it's a quick ride in and out of the city!

The fridge didn‘t work, but was replaced. The TV didn‘t work, but was not important to us. The ghair dryer stopped while using, but worked again later on. The location is perfect for a quiet stay far from the usual touristical huzzle

I looked at reviews after I booked everything. One main thing is that, yes, reception is never there, but they communicate through WhatsApp, so if something was needed, you could contact them. I don’t believe I am asking for too much, but there was no kettle. So you either find a shop and buy coffee and tea yourself, or go down to the restaurants below and constantly order from there. There is a fridge in the room, but there are no shops unless you go into Sorrento by bus and bring things back. People who work in reception sell lounge chairs to lay on at the beach. Even if you have paid to stay there, you still need to pay separately for the chairs outside. If you are looking for a cheap holiday and don’t mind walking up and down the zig-zag hills and catching the bus everywhere, this place is fine. I would personally recommend looking for a place to stay in the exact area so everything is within walking distance. Cleanliness is good, and the room does get cleaned every day, but the towels are kept the same and not changed throughout your stay. The beach view is amazing from the outside, but not all rooms have balconies! Parking is up the zig-zag hill, and every time we went past it, it was full, as it is fairly small. Cars struggle to get through the narrow roads down to the hotel, so other hotels use golf carts to get you to the parking area or up the hill.

The property is less than 100ft from a beach area, which is quite nice. Though you must take a little cart down the hill after taxiing to the parking lot, this little hideaway is well worth it. Warning: it can be hard to catch taxis from the parking lot. We recommend trying to do so around noon when other people are heading to the beach or scheduling one ahead of time. Getting one before 11am is near impossible. Despite that, this was our favorite stay when we went to Italy. Stunning views of the sunset and a few restaurants nearby. Plus, the staff were very friendly! Maid service was phenomenal. Even with us tracking in sand each day from the beach (it was unavoidable), we came back to spotless floors each afternoon. Our biggest regret is not staying for longer! 12/10 would come back
