"This was our first trip to Deep Creek Lake and it couldn't have been better. Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The cabin is perfect for a couple or small family and had everything we could have possibly needed and then some. "The property was pretty clean but the inside needs maintanence. Doors don’t close, not enough pots and pans, dirty curtains, loose legs on the kitchen table, fire place didn’t work, broken light bulbs, the outside wasn’t bad except that the road desperately needs to be replaced. The potholes are huge!! Staff was nice but the sign said to check in on the other side and the door was padlocked shut. It wasn’t easy to know what that meant. "I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...

"We loved the quiet setting, views from the kitchen and living area and the rustic charm and comfort of this beautiful cottage. While we did not stay long enough to enjoy the outdoor streamside firepit, we did enjoy the gas fireplace while having dinner and watching a movie. "This is an adorable clean cottage with good amenities. Located near Suncrest shopping center that has all kinds of shops and eateries plus a large grocery store. The only negatives (but not enough to change my rating) the roads to get to house are like back alleys that are wide enough for one car. Plus there is very little lawn for outside activities, but two great porches."
