Annual family vacation

If you want a quiet place to relax this is not it. It sits on a 55mph road. The house itself was very clean however the outdoor furniture was not clean. Some of the metal pieces are rusty. Outdoor upholstery was stained. Main floor bath needs new fixtures, soap dishes on sinks, etc. Wooden decking in poor condition. Rusted metal railings. At one time I’m sure this was a beautiful place but it needs some TLC to make it worth the steep price. My husband and I have used VRBO many times thru the years and this place is definitely over priced for the current condition. However we did have a wonderful time. The pool and the beach front, dock was great fun. Lots of space for everyone.

Great Hime for Summertime Vacation.

Very nice home with plenty of amenities. A lot of supplies (kayaks, paddle boards, pool, games) to entertain everyone. Very good communication with the hosts.

Relaxing family escape

We loved the Seahorse Retreat home! It was huge but still cozy and there were many special touches of decor throughout. We played in the game room every night, the arcade games were so fun! Our favorite thing was getting in the hot tub every night as the sun went down. The house was very secure with locks at the top of every door so no toddlers could escape. It felt like home away from home but still a luxurious escape.

Beautiful house and great location

House was just as advertised, with an amazing view, working hot tub and heated pool, gas grill, plus plenty of beach chairs. Great location if you like being close to Navarre but also a little closer to Mary Esther and Fort Walton.

Perfect for kids!

The hot tub and pool and game room are a dream! The dock and provided paddleboards are awesome for teens/older kids, and the shallow sound along with small beach area is perfect for smaller kids. Perfect property for families.

Son’s Bachelor Party / Golf Trip

My youngest son’s idea for his bachelor party was a golf getaway with family and groomsmen. The Seahorse was everything plus more as advertised. The hosts were as amazing as the property itself and I highly recommend this place for family getaways!

Family get-away

This property was EVERYTHING we could have wanted. With such an age range among us, there was something for everyone. We saw porpoise most mornings, which made our everyday. The pool and spa were perfect, as well as the many water “toys” for the beach. Shops and restaurants are close by. Our group couldn’t have asked for more.

Perfect vacation home

The home and pool were off the chain…the game room was awesome for kids and adults!!! Excellent vacation home for our large family! I have 5 adult kids with spouses and 3 grandkids. This home was the perfect size for us and very well stocked with everything you could need. I would highly recommend this home for any larger families or friends group! Seahorse Retreat

My family loved staying at the Seahorse Retreat. The location and house were perfect for the 10 of us. We spent most of our time at the pool or beach area. The guys were able to fish off the dock. I was able to kayak and paddleboard. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to my texts. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

A great vacation home.

The property owners were very responsive. The house was exactly as listed. The pool was the life of the party every day. Hot tub was nice in the evening. Both very clean. We sleep 11 very comfortably. There’s a dresser full of games. Well stocked kitchen. Would stay again.

Excellent and super fun vacation experience!

The owners provided a great deal of information about the property and the area so we felt very comfortable at this property for our vacation. They also reached out often to make sure we had everything we needed, which was so nice of them. Fun spring break!

We had a wonderful time for spring break! The weather was a little chilly but we opted to heat the pool and it was great! Plenty of sunshine and the hot tub was awesome. We enjoyed Kayaking and paddle boarding and my boys got up at 6am one morning to kayak out and watch the sunrise on the water. #Beautiful Being right across from the military base was fun too b/c we got to watch super cool planes and helicopters fly by. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Elizabeth was always available throughout the booking and check in process and was friendly to work with. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Seahorse Retreat for my birthday. We were a total of 8 people, although two more families could’ve joined us and we still would’ve been comfortable. From booking, to check in to check out everything went smooth! The house was everything advertised and more. Keep a look out on the beach and on the dock, there is marine life everywhere! The pool/spa was perfect and newly renovated. I will be booking with Elizabeth and Tim again!

Great vacation

Great family vacation. We had 13 people that had plenty of room in the house. Pool and hot tub area were set up very nicely and the landscaping was beautiful. We loved watching all the butterflies that were attracted to the flowers. The view over the water was beautiful also. We would definitely stay again.

Bert's Beach Trip

This property is everything that is advertised. Plenty of room for our party of 16. 4 toddlers and 12 adults. Plenty of beach toys for the kids and the paddle boats were a big hit. I would definitely recommend this house to everyone!!!
