"Really lovely place to stay. Really clean and felt private. The only downside was the parking, just because another guest was using our car space so we weren't able to use it."

"If you’re disabled or just an older guest beware the rooms have not been reviewed by an appropriate person. I found the bathroom a death trap. No grab rails in the shower but the worst was the slippery floor in the toilet with nothing to grab onto when struggling to arise from the toilet. My husband had to help me but not before on making an attempt my feet slipped and I finished up with a nasty fall and a now painful back. At 2am I had to ring reception I was frozen- the radiator didn’t work...

"The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. We stayed in the James Herriot room and it’s the little details such as a piece of cake a glass of port and the accessories were in keeping with the great man himself all very well thought out. We dined that evening and we were not disappointed the food was exceptional and well executed. A warm and welcoming experience by staff who were so friendly!"
