River House

Second stay here - still a great spot for unwinding at the San Marcos river. All you need in the kitchen and a good grill. Relaxing enclosed porch for hanging out and perhaps occasional nap. Alright maybe more than occasional.

Lovely riverside home

Hill Country Paradise

What a property. We had a large group of people and had an absolutely BLAST! The tennis court with basketball hoop was a huge hit. We really wished we could keep the flood lights on past 10PM, though. The river access is insanely beautiful and convenient. The backyard itself is very large, along with the side yard by the driveway, and can host large activities. We 100% plan on trying to rent this place again next year on Memorial Day to house our happy group. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic for a big active group

I stayed here with a large group of friends for our annual reunion. We found the property to be gorgeous and really well-suited to our needs. The house was very well equipped for playing tennis/pickleball, floating in the river (lots of tubes), and cooking meals. Even with a large group the house was quiet and serene in private spaces. The river, while relatively shallow was a beautiful place to cool off on very hot afternoons. We very rarely felt the need to leave the house as it was such a perfect place to have a full and fun weekend.

Incentive Trip

Fabulous place to treat my office staff and their families for all their hard work. It was nice, clean and fully stocked. Had everything we needed for river fun. Each family had their own room. Property and river was perfect.

Annual Memorial Day family weekend

The house was great for our large family get together. It is a quiet area with beautiful riverfront- (and peacocks!) Kids loved the basketball, tennis, and pickle ball. Adults loved the large screened porch and well stocked, convenient kitchen. We all did the short float trip several times from the nearby park to the house. Plenty of tubes to go around. We definitely plan to come back in the future.

Incredible property and can't wait to come back

This is my second time renting this property for my group's annual event and it was even better the second time around. Great place, location, and very spacious. Perfect for a group with the screened patio and everything outside by the river. Really appreciated the communication with the owner and we can't wait to rent the property next year!

Pure awesomeness

Just a beautiful, fully loaded and just plain perfect place for a large gathering of family. We cooked , floated the river and relaxed together. This house is so spacious and the pictures are true to reality. Worth every penny!

Family time

Each summer we host our children and grandchildren for a family time. This is the first time for us in San Marcos. The entire family enjoyed the area, restaurants, shopping and especially the river. The home was very clean and well maintained and our host was always responsive to our questions. Great home for large groups.

10 star property

In mid June 2022, we rented this house for a friends gathering. We found it clean and true to the description. Kitchen supplies was well stocked, laundry room had extra towels available, and grill was in good working condition (thank goodness). Added bonus, the tennis court had traditional boundary lines along with the pickleball boundary lines. Overall, everyone was very happy with the property. Highly recommend and hope to return again. Thank you for sharing this house with us.
