Lovely convenient place. Right next to/on the vineyard. Only thing I did not realise that there was a camera inside the games rooms looking in. Otherwise lovely spot, wish I stayed longer

A stay without the mod cons

Property a bit tired ie shower looked like it had seen better days. Could do with a clean up in and out. We cleaned the dishes, bench tops, and drawers by hand before we ate as everything had a sticky feel. Kettle was filthy. Boiled our water on the stove. Was off putting seeing cameras in the games room area. Couldn't get the tv to work in the games room, and no instructions either, so didn't end up not spending much time in there and that was one of the main reason we booked. So that was disappointing.There was however plenty of space for a family. About a 10min walk to Martinborough, and a short drive. Lovely outlook, and having the wineries next door. Peaceful nights sleep also. Thank you.

Lovely location

We loved Martinborough and the surrounding area, it looked especially beautiful in all the autumn colours but found the cottage very cold, especially when we first arrived. Perhaps it would be a nice gesture for guests arriving in the cooler months for the host to turn on the heaters before the guests arrive to take some of the chill off the air. It took a long time for the cottage to warm up the first day but once it did with the fire going we were much happier.

Cosy, comfy, great location and fun!

Had a great girls weekend in Marti with this as home base. Plenty of wood for the fires which kept us toasty and a lovely location right next to Palliser. Everything you need and more. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, lots of towels and blankets.

This is normally a great property with the games room, that we have stayed in before. However we do think soap should be provided in the bathroom, there was only a nearly empty handsoap for the basin. Also the cobwebs everywhere should really be cleaned away, they are not nice at all.

Weekend Away

Great location. Stayed for 2 nights after hiking Mt Holdsworth. Easy walk into the Martinborough square. Outdoor games room and patio beautiful on a sunny day. Left an item behind and Karen returned it with no charge. Only build is pillows in 2 bedrooms were very thin.

Close to the local shops and not far away from the main centres nearby. Nice and private and not seen from the main road which was good.
